We got the most delicious potatoes here!! We stopped here on our way through to Victoria, and picked up fresh potatoes, fresh corn, and some fruit. Everyone was so friendly and the prices are great. I used our veggies to make delicious potato leek soup with fresh corn.

The best small farm market anywhere. This market has farm fresh local produce and locally baked goods. Fresh eggs from their own chickens is a real delight. It is well run by a competent and cheerful young staff. It is a must visit.

I LOVE shopping at this family-run local business. The produce is fantastic in quality and variety. We also love getting their fresh grown flowers when they're in season.Also, I so appreciate the thorough measures put in place to protect staff and customers during the pandemic.

I enthusiastically & adamantly support small local businesses. I eat a lot of eggs, and they supply locally-sourced eggs that they keep in the fridge across from the cash register. & they taste great! The next time I'm out of eggs & need to buy more, I'll be dropping off empty cartons for them to give to their local supplier to cut down on costs.& I'll be buying my pumpkins from them this year. Halloween is my favourite holiday. :)Also, the cashiers & floor staff are friendly & polite.Lastly, all of the produce is well-stocked & presented neat & tidy. & the price signs are cute!

The best thing at Backroads is the freshly picked corn that is always sweet. Tried the mini cucumbers this year and found them to be great when used in salads or as dill pickles. Always crunchy and delicious. The russet potatoes are nice too, I use it in my curries and making fries with it. Look forward to next May when they open again.
