Played Ireland Course May 22Super nice courseSuper fast greensSuper nice fairways and tight where drive winds up.Other than the highway noise, you get impression of being secluded away from civilization on most holesOnly one caveat .. if you are not hitting the ball straight ..you will lose many balls and get a score at least 10 above your handicap. So make sure you are there to enjoy yourself.

The practice area is so top notch! If you buy a bucket of balls at the driving range, you can use the practice area with unlimited balls that are just lying there...100's of them! ( a nicer than most green with large bunker and fairway grass for picth&chip....plus the crazy big practice green ( super fast , extra nice quality)...I just went there for a bucket at the driving range and ended up spending 3 hours there....just pitching ball after ball after ball, all alone in my little golf world ( litteraly, there was no one but me on a week day afternoon of late June)...11/10

In terms of golf strictly speaking, it's a great course & very challenging to play. Beautiful rolling dunes with elevations & putting greens like glass. Very fast pace. However, the rates are excessively high for the services provided. They did not offer water refill after 9 holes, did not offer beverage coolers with ice, had no ice to speak of, and only had a very small selection of beer & sandwiches through the turn. To pay more than $120 per round per person after a drink & snack through the turn, it's just not good value. To be a course of this stature & magnitude they need to improve the experience overall.

Beautiful links golf course. Played the Irish course. Busy place. Had breakfast and it was really good. We had a good time. I’d play here again

Irish course makes you feel like you are in Ireland while you are only on the Eastern tip of the island of Montreal..amazing layout and conditions...good test of your golf skills

One of the best public golf courses in Great Montréal. Not easy to play. Some low handicappers play like mid-handicappers here.

Poor experience playing here, Marshall’s were rude with pace of play. We were right behind the group in front of us but the Marshall's were telling us to speed up constantly. We would have to wait at the tee block for the group ahead and were still being nagged at.

This is one of the nicest courses in Montreal. The greens roll true (fast) and the course conditions are very consistent and pretty. Nov golfing, they have cleared the leaves well. A definite location for golfers looking for a challenging yet nice looking course.

I played the Ireland course a few days ago. Everything at the course was fine in terms of marshalls, checking in etc. Got a bit slow on the back9, but it was 33 degrees out so not shocking. The course was in great condition. It isn't the longest course, but every shot demands hitting a specific area. If you haven't played it before or don't have time to get an exact distance or scope out where you are hitting, you are in for a doozy as there are places where the fairway is only about 10 meters wide (usually where an average person would hit their driver) and the fescue is everywhere and extremely thick. Aside from the fescue/narrowness, the course isn't especially hard in terms of distance, greens, and bunkers (some deep pot bunkers aside). Overall I wouldn't recommend if you want to play a casual round with some level of forgiveness. If you want to score you have to be highly meticulous planning out your shots to avoid trouble. Personally I don't understand the appeal of links golf as it is a bit repetitive and visually unappealing. Fun to play once, but I doubt I'd want to play the Ireland course again.
