My son has been attending swimming lessons since he was 6 months old. He has learnt so much , and loves when we walk in and see the pool! We are looking forward to all of the things he will learn in our next sessions!

Big Splash Swimming Academy
When my 4-year-old boy started there, he couldn’t put his face under the water. In a few sessions I could see my son from “afraid of water” to swimming a few meters by himself.The facility is small and cozy. Much easier to get the kids attention as it is not a big pool with a million classes happening at the same time. It is just the instructor and the kids. Normally 3. We truly love that place.

Big Splash Swimming Academy
We love splash academy. Our daughter was terrified of being splashed or getting water on her head. The progress in a few short lessons is incredible. The owners are genuinely great people, amazing with kids and very accommodating. We couldn’t be happier. “Mr Fish” is a legend in our household ;) We highly recommend these lessons. We also love how well maintained the facility is and it is always clean.

Big Splash Swimming Academy
A swimming school I like any other. My toddler went from fearing the water absolutely obsessing with swim class. Instructor, Ross, has the most calm and assertive approach.The shallow pool allows the kids to feel comfortable and safe. It's a beautiful facility, small class size, and each 30 minute class leaves them noticeably stronger swimmers. It's also super fun!I would recommend this program to ages of swim.

Totally recommend it! Ross is an amazing teacher! So patient, attentive and caring. My 8 months old baby is making a lot of progress! The pool is clean and comfortably warm.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I'm convinced Ross is solely responsible for how much my daughter loves water. The staff is immediately friendly as soon as you walk in and the instructors are the BEST. She leaves feeling so confident and proud after every lesson.

Wonderful place, and staff! Ross and Lyndi are absolutely amazing people, and so accomodating, we missed a couple lessons, and they arranged for us to make them up. My 2 year old son, is so comfortable and confident going in the water, after only 5 lessons, and he loves it! Very clean facility! I would give them 10 stars if I could.

Absolutely recommend Big Splash Swimming Academy to any family with young swimmers, no matter what level or age. Ross & team are very professional, knowledgeable and beyond great with kids! The facility is clean and you will see them test the water many times! You can choose from weekly lessons throughout the year, but they also offer December holiday programs, March break programs & summer programs. We have personally had our kids enrolled since they opened in 2020, working their way up their fun level programs! Thank you Ross & Lyndi & team for opening an AMAZING swim academy in Barrie.

Absolutely amazing swimming school! Ross is the best teacher, our son has learned invaluable swimming skills. I wouldn't take my kids to any other place for swimming lessons. Highly recommend!
