Yellowhead RV Park & Campground

Awesome Campground! Very organized and clean. Love that they take the time to accommodate your needs and always so tentative towards your needs. The location is ideal since is only 1.5 hr from Jasper and you can also explore the BC wilderness. I met Tony the owner and he is a sweet man with a big smile. Excellent costumer service! I have decided to camp here every year.

Wonderful little spot conveniently located right off the highway. Laundry area etc is exceptionally clean, the gentleman (Tommy?) at the checkin was super friendly & helpful.Our site was spacious enough for our 44.5’ toyhauler & dually & we loved our stay. There is some highway noise, but it didn’t bother us at all. I’d easily tolerate a little noise for the convenience of this location!We will definitely be back on our next trip thru!

Pretty good spot to camp for a night after a long drive. Nice service for RV camping as well. Good spot for kids since they have public use bicycles. 3 Star for me since I find it a tad lackluster on the wilderness side of things.

A great camp ground nestled in the evergreens only a minute north of Valemont. We stayed her for 5 days with some friends. They have several pull through sites that are very easy to get in and out of and a lot of the sites have power and water. The sites also all have picnic tables and fire pits. They have a really nice shower and bathroom house that I think is only a year or too old and they clean it everyday. There is a separate men’s and women’s washroom and then a shower area with 4 separate tile shower stalls all with lockable doors. There are lots of really nice tent sites down near the river with really nice flat grass areas to pitch tents. There is a play ground and a bunch of kids bikes if you didn’t bring one for your kids. Firewood bundles can be purchased and come with some dry kindling and news paper. If you are rv camping and full your tanks they have a portable tank you can dump into so that you don’t have to move your RV. They also have a nice RV dumping station with water that you can fill your fresh water tank with or clean out your black tank. The ground are very well maintained and very clean. It’s a short bike ride to downtown Valemont and short drive to the Valemont mtn bike park. I would definitely come back.

Accused of pushing my way into the office, that I was drunk(when I haven't drank in well over 5 years). Management and site attendant are extremely unprofessional!As another local to Valemount business, and having highly recommended this campground to hundreds if not thousands of clients over the last 6 years, I would highly suggest finding somewhere else to stay. Most of which are cheaper, if not free!

The best camp site on this trip so far. The beauty of it is, the sites T2-T9 are only accessible for the bicycle or bikers and they are the best spots right by the salmon spawn creek. We called them to check if they have spots and we got accepted. They have the best showers.

Really nice campground with clean washrooms and showers! Only complaint was one of the camp keepers accosted us for improperly parking our car despite us parking how the other keepers showed us.

I was there last weekend for a family reunion and to spread the ashes of a love one, the one member of the staff who new exactly what we were there for were not understanding of what we were there for. Was combative and ignorant when a sober, family member started to questioning about what was wrong and what we could do to help ? she fled the campground site When a complaint was place with management about the employee behaviour Claudia( site manager). Showed up at our site at around 10:30pm and was extremely combative and insensitive to our situation. Although it was her that two separate family members explained to here the situation prior to showing up. All this after a long hard day saying good by to a beloved family member. Claudia excuse for the behaviour of her employee was it’s had to hire good help. Apparently this is a on going problem according to the reviews.

EXCELLENT! I was in a designated motorcycle/bike tenting area. Right beside the creek and very private.I was a last minute traveller and when I called, they said they were completely sold out..Canada Day long. When I mentioned I was on my motorcycle they let me know about the special area that was rarely full. Wow.Highly recommend them!Everything clean and very well kept.
