Montfort Nicolet Hotel

My girlfriend and I had the privilege of staying at the Montfort Nicolet Hotel last fall. From booking the room till the moment we left, our experience was incredible. I spoke to the manager on the phone as we were booking to ensure that we could bring our pet, and she was happy to tell me that not only do they allow guests to have their pets tag along, they also have a special pet package for our furry friends.As we drove into the beautiful entrance, we were greeted by the manager as well as some of the team as they couldn't wait to meet our Porkchop! From then on, we enjoyed the on site spa as well as the sauna and relaxation rooms. Our hotel room was extremely clean and well spaced out, and the beds were SUPER comfortable. Upon leaving, we were again able to say goodbye to the manager and her amazing team. I can't wait to go back. Thank you again to the Montfort Nicolet Hotel!

A gorgeous hotel in Nicolet. You don't even need to leave the hotel grounds to enjoy your trip. The courtyard is equipped with a fire pit, and there are paths through the garden shrubberies. There is a hot tub on the roof open until 11pm, so you can soak and look up at the stars. There are pools and a spa also on site. Yes, the building is old and the hallways can be a bit of a labyrinth, but the rooms are modern and comfortable.

Building with old charm that has been lovingly restored. The beds are very comfortable. The pool and hot tubs are great and relaxing. The breakfast buffet is delicious and has lots of choices. We stayed here with 2 young kids in March 2018 and loved it.

I’m so thrilled with my stumble upon Montfort. The history of the magnificent building was what first awestruck us. It’s just breathtaking. Everything exceeded my expectations. Everything was so clean, the staff were genuine, welcoming, and accommodating (everyone seemed very happy). We don’t speak much French but communication was never a problem. The amenities like the giant rooftop hot tub, REAL breakfast, and the spa included in your stay absolutely blew me away. I could go on about the spa for days; clean, spacious, luxurious. I couldn’t believe I was paying the same for this absolutely perfect hotel stay as I did for any of the other hotels on our trip. Affordable. Comfortable. Outstanding!!

Long story short, the first time we went there it was a complete catastrophe. We talked to the manager about it and we were able to come up with an agreement so they could redeem themselves. Now that we visited for a second time, I'm happy to say they really did redeem themselves. So I think it is worth mentioning that they entirely stand behind their customers, if anything goes wrong, you can rest assured they will try to figure out something.

Very nice place for having some relaxing moments for couples. We spent our new year eve at Montfort and we loved it! Great outdoor spas with jacuzzi and sauna and a beautiful cold pool. The room was large and super clean with lovely fireplace. Highly recommended

Lots of charm. Each guest room is unique. Staff was very friendly. The front desk team member was bilingual and very accommodating of my subpar French.

My partner and I stayed at this hotel last week and I must say that we have mixed feelings about our experience. We bought a Black Friday forfait in order to treat ourselves. The stay itself was pleasant. There wasn’t a lot of people therefore we almost had the hotel for ourselves. Things started going downhill during checkout. The desk staff charged us the cost of a night stay while we had already paid for the forfait. Once we realized this we went back to the front desk to inquire about the issue and the desk staff told us that the person who would be able to help us was on lunch. Another very unfortunate inconvenience was that they charged us 21.40$ for “frais d’hébergement”. We have never been informed of this. When I called the front desk they told me that it’s normal for forfaits to be charged this amount. Once again, we have NEVER been informed of this.Edit:After a week and two phone calls, the second being with Dominic, the issue was resolved. We were told it was a system error and that they would reimburse the missing sum immediately.

Gorgeous hotel. We have cycled in the area have stopped in to take a look. Looks beautiful. Plan on doing a romantic get away. Have meant several people on bike trail who have raven about their stay. They do offer bikes to guest if you like to try some cycling.
