Bald Eagle Plumbing & Heating

Short version - at best Bald Eagle does not care about quality or its customers, at worst they are dishonest and actively overcharging.I am quite unsatisfied with the service recieved for what I thought would be a simple job. I initially called on Monday July 12th to get a technician to come fix the leaking drain in the main floor bathroom. That evening someone did come by, but left after assessing the requirements as it was already 5 pm, informing the tenant that they would return Tuesday the 13th.On the 13th, my tenant sent me a message that the technician did not return, and they did not contact the tenant or myself that they would not be able to make it that day. I called into the office on Wednesday the 15th to ask the status of this work order, and was told the technician would call me back. The tech did call and told me the job would take 2-3 hours to complete and that he would be there on Thursday July 15th.On the 15th my tenant again informed me that the tech did not show up or call, so I again called the office to get an update on the status of this work order. I was told that a different technician would complete the job on Friday the 16th.The tech did come on the 16th and complete the work order. I had not recieced correspondance that the work was completed so I messaged my tenant who told me it was done and the work took 20 minutes (message attached).On Monday the 19th I recieved the invoice which included 3 hours labor. I called to ask about the extra charges and was told the tech would call me to explain the invoice. I have not spoken to the tech or a manager at the time of writing this review, despite a follow-up call and email on the 21st.Based on what my tenant has said, this seems like excessive charges. Also, my tenant sent me a video showing the sink is now unsteady, and the caulking around the sink at the wall has come loose.Again, I am completely unsatisfied with this entire situation. I have used Bald Eagle into the past, but will not the future. Further I suggest everyone use another service provider.

Dear customers,This plumbing service is horrible! I HIGHLY NOT RECOMMEND to ask any installation or repair on this. They over charged and not consistent in their words.My husband asked for a repair of 2 toilets . He phoned this BALD Heating company. Dallas came to check what needs to be done. I asked how much it would cost to fix the 2 toilets, he answered .” That wouldn’t take time to install. It would cost you $300-$400 only including the cost of $95 / hr labour.We decided not to change the other toilet instead, I asked to just simply connect the vanity sink which I bought for $68 sales from Home Depot.Time comes to fix. Justin cameI was watching the time while Justin was fixing the toilet and putting up the vanity sink. It took a total of 1.5 hours all when he finished the work.Obviously, I am very particular on the time because the hourly labour rate is $95/ hr. The productivity wise Justin made has more wasted than working because he went outside twice for 30 mins. Justine started the labour at 1:05 and he finished at exactly 3:10 pm including the wasted time.When the invoice came, my husband was surprised because they charged him for $648.Isn’t too much???!! We bought the vanity sink and we pay $150 to them for the toilet bowl. Their labour cost was $500 for 1.5 hrs of work. Let’s say I will also add another hour of Justin’s wasted time 30 minutes twice in and out . Isn’t still consider as over charging?And the toilet that was fixed was wobbling. Very disappointed indeed!!I phoned the office and asked about it. Tara was very rude in responding trying to depend the way how the charges would work. She wasn’t there while Justin was working. I was there and I was watching the work of Justin. I kept phoning them about the time why Justin was in and out! I also sent messages to ROY.I only asked to kindly make a bit of adjustment about cost they charged us but they are very RUDE in answering .Take note,, this is not a very good service!!

Excellent Company, Quick fast service. Reasonably priced. Reception is polite, courteous and professional. I have had them do plumbing , gas Heater and furnace repairs. Always someone to answer the phone and usually can get there within a day.

I would 100% stay away from this company. I was given an estimate to repair my ac unit for $1300 with the assurance they would review the bill at end. Final invoice came in at $1420 before tax. As the $1300 was high to begin with I called back asking if they would at least come down to the $1300. In speaking with one of the owner's, Roy, I was continually interrupted, talked down to, and at one point he stated he would be willing to meet me" alluding to wanting to fight. I have never encountered this type of unprofessionalism from an owner let alone an employee and do not feel any customer should have to endure this treatment.On a positive note the repair was completed

Aldo came and installed our dishwasher, in no time flat! And then the problems started. The billing wasn't made clear to us and the bill came with a charge for kilometers to the house and back to their shop which was incorrect and an extra 2 hours of labor which they claimed was from their shop to our house and back. Neither of those charges made any sense to us and we still haven't gotten a resolution, so hire at your own risk!

We called Bald Eagle at 5 p.m. on Monday after experiencing a sewer back up. They called at 8:30 the next morning, arranged to come from Drayton Valley to Whitecourt and were on the job by 10 AM. Very friendly professional workers , they were able to unplug the sewer line, send a camera down, save the video and give some advice on how to handle the repairs needed. I would not hesitate to call them again.

Cami and her team were absolutely fantastic when we had a furnace failure and frozen bathroom pipes. They were there the same day and solved the problem quickly and efficiently!Their customer service was friendly, super helpful and caring.We would recommend them to anyone!

The worst plumbing company I've ever dealt with. They can't do there job properly and they over charge. How can a professional" company get away with charging for 2 laborers for a 1 laborer job plus charge for 2 hours when they were only here for 20 minutes? This is absolutely disgusting. When I talked to the manager about it he was demeaning and rude towards me

TERRIBLE! Bald Eagle used to be the top dog in town. The manager is a totally ignorant jersey! They won't warranty their work at all. Paid 300 for them to place a phone call to the town office. Still leaking, refused to even look at it or let me explain. Says he has 1000 customers so who cares if he loses 1. Called me names and yelled at me. Do not recommend ever!!!

We have had Bald Eagle Plumbing and Heating to our home on 3 different occasions 1 for furnace repair, 1 for in-floor heat Boiler repair and 1 for Air Conditioner repair. Mitch attended our farm for the Furnace and AC and another fellow (sorry can't remember his name) attended to our Boiler. Both were great - fully explained the issue and repair required - fast work and super response time. Brenda in the office is also great!
