Disappointing Customer Service at Gillz SweetI recently visited Gillz Sweet, a restaurant I'd heard good things about. Unfortunately, my experience was marred by some surprisingly poor customer service. I was waiting for my order when I witnessed a male customer come in and place his order. A few minutes later, he politely asked one of the staff members for a glass of water. The staff member's response was shocking - she flatly refused, stating that they don't provide water to customers as per the owner's instructions. She then suggested that the gentleman purchase a bottled water instead.It was disheartening to see such a basic courtesy being denied to a customer. It definitely left a bad impression on me and, I assume, other customers as well. I hope Gillz Sweet's management will reconsider their policy on providing water and make an effort to improve their customer service.However, after this experience, I have decided not to return to this establishment.

I'm so disappointed with their food, especially pakora ( pakoda), because it was half cooked and not good in taste just because of fast preparation .I come to this place once or twice a week but this behavior is not acceptable at all

It has a variety of Indian sweet items, which is amazing. We got samosas and gulabjamun from here.Samosa was fresh and crispy with balanced spices and served with two types of chutneys.There were options for takeaway only. We can ask for Uber eats for home delivery.

We order garlic naan but we get baasi naan days old after hour wait nd surprisingly no garlic on it . Owner should look into it . I came every week but from couple of weeks quality of food is gone down.

Unpleasant Experience at Gill'sI'm sad to report a poor experience at Gill's Sweets. The quality of the food was really bad. The Shahi Paneer was too watery, and their Thali, usually a colorful assortment of flavors, was disappointing. The sweets were not tasty, and the staff were not friendly. I won't recommend this place and give it a 1-star rating out of 5.

Going to relatives we wanted to pick a couple of pounds of Cauliflower Pakora, but they did not have “in stock”. Perhaps because the high prices of cauliflower. Picked up a few samosas and couple pounds of mixed veg pakoras.The samosas you must a minimum of three and they were OK. The pakoras the same like everywhere except they didn’t sprinkle Chaat Masala that elevates the taste of just about anything. The chutneys fair.While I did a few pictures later I was told, taking pictures was not allowed. Wonder why.

Usually their food is good, but this time I am disappointed with the food quality. Today, I ordered Rajma Rice and they gave me canned Rajma; and it was smelling extremely bad. Rice was also undercooked. I didn't want to waste the food but I literally had to. Very disappointed.

For daily food food is below average as they are unable to special request especially makki do roti is so thick. It is uncooked warm flour.Mithai quality and price are best.

Hands down, THE BEST SAMOSAS in GTA!! Their Paneer Samosas are delicious. They also do catering for food at a very reasonable price. I did catering for my wedding from them and I was completely satisfied with the quality of food and service. Try their Besan Barfi (Desi Ghee), it's one of my most favorite sweet and it's super delicious. They take proper COVID 19 measures and their restaurant is clean and hygienic. Highly recommended for Samosas, Indian Sweets and Indian food!!

They have the best Samosas in Toronto. You can see effect of inflation on samosa prices as they went from 4 samosas for 1 $ to almost 70-80 cents per samosas after Covid. Sweets are really good and they maintain high quality.However, for some reason, the staff is very serious all the time and sometimes they come across very blunt and rude.
