I visited one of the national franchise stores for a computer and had an ok experience until I chose a computer and the fellow apologized and told me the computer that I took an hour deciding to buy was not available in store or to order in - they wouldn't even sell me the one on the floor that was right in front of me!I visited Bud - told him what I needed, he told me to come back in an hour when I picked up a machine that was custom made for my needs - including blue under-glow!That was several months ago and I'm stoked with my computer!

I've purchased computers from Bud at Genius Computers for the past 15 years. Never had a problem and found Bud to be considerate of my needs and not try to sell me add-on's for something I didn't need or wouldn't use. Quite a refreshing experience. I highly recommend Genius Computers to anyone looking for a new computer or to fix any computer problem.Computer companies have come and gone in Cranbrook... Genius Computers is the one that is still standing. That's a direct result of continual fair pricing and superior service.

An obviously knowledgable passionate owner who takes pride in custom built computers. The store layout shows his attention to detail. Very service oriented even for a small purchase. You need to check this out if you have a need for a quality desktop or laptop. Also does repairs and upgrades to existing systems.

Amazing owner with a for the gamers attitude! Amazing in store selection and was the only place in miles I could find a 3070 for the right price! Thank you so much you clearly have true heart for the gamers out there and we need more retailers like you. I highly suggest anyone choose this place over best buy or Amazon for that matter its way worth it.

For several months I was having issues with my business laptop. Yes, it was older and had a slower processor than I have had in the past. However, Bud generously helped me over the phone twice to diagnose what the issues were, no charge. Then when I had exhausted possibilities, I brought the laptop in to Genius Computers. He fixed the issue with the laptop (same day) and I ended up purchasing a new laptop in store. My husband is happy as he gets the older (newly fixed) laptop. Thank you for your help and the extra tips to help save me money.

Needed to get my DVD port fixed on my laptop, went in and the owner was very nice and helpful. He took it in and was able to fix the small issue in about a half hour which was faster than his estimated time. It was also very reasonably priced as well which was great. If I ever have another issue with my laptop and I'm in the area again for vacation, I will definitely come back to this store.

Bud saved my computer! I was cleaning a old computer a friend gave me and accidentally broke one of the pins off of the socket board of mother board removing the fan because the seal would not detach... Now the computer is running great.
