exile vintage | Exile Vintage is a Toronto vintage shop located in the heart of Kensington Market. Exile Vintage has been open for 40 years and specializes in affordable vintage clothing, costumes, drag, accessories and art. Exile has made it's mark on the retro fashion scene with a jaw-dropping collection of 1940's, 1950's, and 1960's vintage, alongside favourite well-worn and perfectly faded Levi's jeans.

I liked the dress I purchased. The man at the front charged me for debit use, which is supposed to be 2.4%. He charged me TEN PERCENT more with my purchase, which is illegal. Overall, I’d say it has a nice selection if you’re looking for 80s style clothes, but is overpriced imo.

If only i could give this place negative reviews. man working there today at the cashier was disgustingly rude and pushy. He harassed me and my two female friends and accused US of stealing sunglasses by shouting at us in front of other customers, despite other customers trying on glasses too in front of him AND despite us purchasing an item (which we now regret). We stood our ground and managed to leave the store, however I can’t even imagine how someone would feel if they were alone and haggled by that man. What a clown. Don’t manage a store if you’re going to harass your customers for trying on your items. No one wants to steal your $15 sunglasses. Don’t waste your time going there.

I have been coming to this store for years and have nothing but high praise. Full of wonderful finds for all shapes and sizes, I find that no matter when I visit or who I bring with me, there's always a hidden treasure to be found. Items sold here tend to be of quality and it's not hard to find a total steal. Also great for providing for costuming needs, gowns, ethnic clothing, accessories, and pretty much anything under the sun. Out of all of the independent used and new clothing stores I've been to, I'd also argue that Exile has one of the largest selections available. All in all, it is always a total pleasure to shop here, and I look forward to visiting again in the future!

This place was AMAZING!!! I absolutely loved the clothes there, the owner was one of the nicest shop owners that I've ever met. She kept it open late for us, talked to us about where we're from and who we are, she was super inclusive and found some clothes she thought we'd like...I couldn't be happier in a clothing store, and if you're ever in Toronto you absolutely have to check them out! They have an etsy and an insta as well

This is actually one of favorite clothing places! It's got such great and unique selection and the vibe is really fun especially in the back section. If you've got a themed party or are looking for costumes, this is the place to go!Rose helped me and she was so kind. She helped me find a piece that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE!

You gotta go through a whole lot to find something worth buying, not just quality or to your liking but isn’t a complete rip off. You gotta sort of chat up one of the people to get offered a discount on something. Like there really are some great pieces but the price is just so jacked up, it better be worth it.
