CCTS is a wonderful and very helpful organization which hires competent and hard working people. My experience with them has been fantastic.I am deeply disappointed by the number of negative comments. IF you have an issue, go ahead and file a complaint and do not be fooled by the negative comments as usually people would just post reviews about negative experience(s). It is a terrible action to list individuals' full names on the internet as this could lead to harassment too..They are human too. Treat them the way you would like to be treated. The fact that they get funded by the very companies you are filing complaints against does not make your point valit AT ALL!. The telecommunication companies are obligated to do so in order for you to get compensated when the agreement is violated.Maybe next time just be extra careful, know the tricks, read the fine print and do not get yourself in the same mess. After my conflict with Rogers was resolved, I started being more careful and hopefully I wont be falsely charged for anything again.Be respectful. and try to list your problem then if you have a negative review. You are not only ruining the workers' reputation, but also making other people who are encountering issues hesitant and discouraging them from opening complaints themselves.Thank you to everyone who helped me with my file! Thank you CCTS

I made a complaint three months ago about carrytel. Carrytel had charged 36 dollars on my credit card one year after I canceled the prepaid internet service. I am 100% sure had deleted all my credit card information before the cancellation. But the agent just left my case for three months, she even didn’t know what is my complaint. CCTS even didn’t tell me the reason why my complaint was closed. I am sorry, I couldn’t give 0 star.I think after years, maybe CCTS will not exist, because the bad reputation.

Yep, another bad review for a government funded oversite joke. I had a Bell steal money from me full on after I canceled my account and had my bank bring it up to me as what is this charge for?"Asked for my money back and they flat out said no. Complained to CCTS And they said they can't do anything after a year. So for reference

They never did anything but had the audacity to send me a satisfaction survey. Also, this obsession with asking people if they're a minority group on everything is getting out of hand.

If you have issues with your cell phone service, maybe they can help. If it is about Internet, don't waste your time.- Infrastructure - out of scope- Customer service - out of scope- Performance - in scope, but up to" is what they will throw back at you- Accountability - out of scope- Only back 18 months - so if the telco made a commitment and you've been actually trying to get there for more than 18 months

I changed providers and found my phone was not unlocked to use with the new provider. I called the old company very many times over a period of 3 months and probably spoke with over 50 different people including several supervisors to arrange unlocking of my phone. The number of hours and days trying to get an unlocked phone was unbelievable and extremely frustrating, esp. since I'd fully paid for my phone which was otherwise working perfectly before the switchover. There was always one excuse after another, instructing me to go into the stores, spending hours there, transferring me from one dept. to another, and waiting for supervisors to call within the 48 hours" over and over again

I have had three seperate issues and they were resolved in reasonable time. Also the companies that would not fix the problem of return calls did so within minutes. Acanac, Chatr and CarryTel. Three times successful in my requests. This time I have launched a complaint about Freedom Mobile.

My experience with this Government agency has been extremely disappointing, leading me to believe that it is ineffective and potentially influenced by the telecom giants themselves. Last year, I filed a complaint against Rogers, and a representative from Rogers contacted me. Unfortunately, the representative was rude and questioned why I had chosen to complain to the CCTS. They provided no assistance in resolving the issue at hand. As a result, I ultimately had to switch from Rogers to Bell to find a satisfactory resolution. It is disheartening to encounter such lack of support and unhelpful responses from both the government agency and the telecom provider.

Gotta love a private not-for-profit corporation that attempts to masquerade itself as a branch of our Canadian government. Rather than double checking their own incompetencies telecom companies have farmed it out to a not for profit so that they can keep in more money in their pocket and when it comes to actual consumer advocacy in Canada there is none

These clowns have the same job listing open for the last 5 months. I'm more than qualified for it, especially with my telecom experience, yet haven't heard back after applying twice. No wonder the reviews from people are so bad and their complaints aren't being resolved properly (based off these reviews). CCTS is probably hiring people with experience" or "qualifications" in completely irrelevant industries. People who've worked in the telecom industry
