Old style barbering which suits me. Also caters to the university crowd since he is located really near the campus. Cash only, reasonable prices. From my perspective does good hair cut and beard trim.

You get what you pay for"After about just one week I returned to Taylor's Barbershop for my second and last time.I asked if he could touch things up as there were parts on one side not matching up with the other and it looked off from the last week's cut. I dropped in and was made to feel embarrassed in front of another customer when I asked for him to fix what he missed. He said he would do it this time after lecturing me on what an acceptable amount of time was and including the other guy sitting in the chair. Taylor thougt a day or two?I decided to simply pay someone else to avoid further tension and his argumentative attitude. Very poor service and the worst hair cut I've had. How long does it take to know you got a bad hair cut?You can hide a lot of mistakes when it's short. I went out of convenience and to support local. I am happy to pay double to be treated respectfully and get a proper hair cut somewhere else."

I've gone here many times and have always received a good hair cut. The place is clean and simple. The barber is friendly and follows the instructions I give him. The price is also the best I've found in the area ($13). Great place for a man's haircut.

Taylor's barbershop has been a staple for Western students throughout the years. Located close to many of the residences and student living areas around the university, it offers a sense of home away from home. Although you may be subject to a brief wait as a walk-in (it's a popular place) it is fully worth it. Great hair cut, great conversation, great price.

Sean is a delightful person, however, his haircutting ability needs finish. I got a scissor cut last week and began realizing the immense asymmetry my hair was left with.For my spike in the front, I needed one more scissor cut in the centre to make the hair in the front less of a unicorn and more of like the photo I showed him immediately before the haircut.To give him the benefit of the doubt, I was the last haircut of the day.I believe that if Sean payed more attention to cutting hair and less attention telling each customer about his Tesla holdings, the quality of his work product would increase along with his efficiency.After going to Sean for three years, I think I'm ready to find a new barber.For the haircut I received, I regret giving him a 30% tip.

I go here every time I get a haircut. Very good price and he does a great job.. sharp and accurate. Sean is a good guy to chat with too!

Pretty cheap barber ($13) but quality of the cut is pretty substandard and he severely lacks attention to detail.He forgot to cut the whole upper right side of my head, leaving the hairs 2 inches longer than the rest with no fade or gradual transition. I have an undercut hairstyle where one side is 0.5cm while the top is longer and after my cut he left a lot of stray, random longer hairs all over the side of my head.if you have longer hair and don't really have any standards or expectations Taylor's might be okay for you

Very popular barber. Not unusual to wait an hour or more, esp during the school year. First barber I've been to that you are faced any from the mirror during the haircut. Overall a positive experience.

He does an outstanding job cutting hair, and he is the cheapest I have found.He is talkative if you want to talk or keep quiet if you wish to get a cut and go. He judges based on how chatty you are.The place is simple. The only negative I can say is because he is by himself, he doesn't have a cleaner to sweep hair in the garbage. He cleans it to a corner so he can get through the people quickly that are waiting.

Great cut, one of if not the lowest price in london. Great location across from campus and right in front of the bus stopOther places on campus and elsewhere ive been to the haircut was poor and twice as expensive.
