Enterprise Rent-A-Car
While the vehicle was nice to have and the staff are super friendly, I have simply had a terrible experience. Read thoroughly.When I checked out the vehicle they parked it in a big puddle. That didn’t allow me to do a thorough walk around. (In hind sight, I should have soaked my shoes and bought a new pair. It would have been easier/less expensive.) The employee did a walk around though and marked all areas in red on the documents. I thought that was sufficient. It simply wasn’t.!When I returned the vehicle they forced me to sign off on damage done to the vehicle to those red areas (red means damaged). The bad part is there were small linear dent pulls (prior repairs) that were almost not visible. They had been there so long that there was rust on them and the vehicle was a 2021. They wanted to charge me for them.I was so shocked. I made my points to them and they didn’t care. They only cared about what was listed on the check out documents.Beware. Make sure that all your areas are not just marked in red but also verbally described.Not sure how many times they have charged people for the same repairs.It really was a deal breaker for me and the brand of enterprise. I will select other rental companies in the future. I suggest you do too. Unless you like being taken advantage of.Don’t be a victim to their rental “program”The funny part is. They still cannot provide a quote for repairs. They have simply frozen my deposit.If you think this is my typical review look at the other reviews I have done and consider most are five star. This one isn’t. That is with intention for consumer warning.As a local guide I pride myself in providing accurate information to support our community.Update. As of nearly another week passing, I still don’t have a full response and I have been working with the local team, the customer care department and the regional manager. If you want answers, they will be tough to find with this company. Oh, and they still have my money too.

Been to many many car rental companies and this one is different. No surprises on the bill or anything else. Told me an amount. Stuck to it and called me three times to make sure everything was good.Good for you guys. Making a good name for yourself and not being like all the other rip offs.

10/10 customer service. Location was busy on a Friday afternoon before close, but the staff made sure everyone had been helped and greeted. Very accommodating helping me return my rental to this location and not the one I originally rented from due to the storm. Highly recommend.

Tried to pickup my car today and the place was so understaffed there was only one person working. Waited an hour, couldn’t get a clear answer as to how long it would take to get my car so I had to leave without the rental. Got a call half an hour later saying I could come pick one up but couldn’t by then. You cannot run a business with only one staff member. The office was full of fed up customers

I would not recommend renting from Enterprise, The employees at this location were friendly but the corporation will not listen to concerns. I got into an accident in my rental car due to conditions that were out of my control, I tried to address these concerns with enterprise when they started happening but got sent away. After the accident I tried emailing, calling and sending a letter to enterprise claims department to discuss the accident. I felt my concerns were not addressed and pushed aside by the representative asking for payment. I felt there was no compassion or understanding for my situation and they were just looking to get their payment anyway necessary.

To say I’m unimpressed with Lethbridge Enterprise is an understatement. My experience with this company was poor from start to finish.My insurance agent prearranged a rental through Enterprise as my vehicle was set to go in for repairs. I received confirmation from Enterprise saying a vehicle had been reserved and was ready for pickup. Enterprise was supposed to pick me up from the collision centre; however, after waiting nearly an hour I eventually contacted the rental company to find out their driver “went to the wrong location”. When I finally arrived at Enterprise I waited another hour before they rushed me into a vehicle nothing like my current day-to-day stating while they knew my insurance covered a comparable ride, they didn’t have anything available (I drive a 4runner, they put me in a Malibu). The interior of the car was still wet with cleaning product and smelled of cigarettes but I was already late for work at that point and thought I’d just grin and bare it.Flash forward to returning the car. We dropped it off later into the evening and left the keys in the designated drop box. I receive a voicemail the following day claiming there was a dent to the roof of the car that would require a new panel and I would be charged a $500 deductible. My husband called them back to dispute their claims and was told there was a “volleyball sized dent in the roof that occurred from being stepped on or having a heavy bag placed on it”. My husband again disputed the claims stating he was personally present for drop off and requested video footage from the Enterprise lot. The employee he was dealing with then changed his tune stating “they’d see if their autobody guy could just pop out the dent.”Ultimately, I can’t help but feel like they were making up stories in an attempt to get more money out of me which is unfortunate. I wouldn’t recommend using this company and I have encouraged my insurance company to reconsider who they utilize for interim rentals during repairs.
