What a great little arts centre. Been here a couple times for different things but it was truly the historic archives that lit up my soul. How cool!!!

Esplanade Arts & Heritage Centre
This place is a must when visiting MH. It has one permanent exhibition that's amazing and two rotating exhibits. The lady in the entrance is very helpful. The kids can do a scavenger hunt looking for different pieces from the exhibitions.I visited in two occasions (summer last year and spring this year). Great place to take the kids, last time they had an activity area and my son loved it!

The theatre is set up very well acoustically. Every band I've seen there has sounded pretty good compared to a lot of venues. I wish the beer selection was a little more vast. Thankfully hard alcohol is available as another option.

Went to Classic Albums Live Heart Dreamboat Annie show last night! Band was great, singer was PHENOMENAL!!! Theatre is a great size and chairs are comfortable. Highly recommend the venue.

My first visit here and it is a incredible facility that culminates multiply facets of culture. From art to live performance and a historical museum of the region. When I was visiting their was a powerful exhibit by Jude Grobiel on humans impact on the earth that I found profound and engaging.

Every seat, is a good seat. Which is fantastic! But they are so damn small! Prepare to have your space invaded and get up close and personal with the person beside you.

It is an amazing building and an amazing environment... Supporting local artists and local talent... As well as bringing in artists and musicians from around surrounding areas and the world. great museum display in the history and the progress of Medicine Hat. A beautiful environment for any and all occasions and best of all they serve alcohol

It is a small venue and still has pretty good sound. Good fun. Friendly staff!
