TWG Tea at Vancouver
The restaurant is beautiful and a quaint place to have tea on a Sunday afternoon. The location was a little hard to find and parking downtown is pretty expensive. Would recommend carpooling to save money on the transportation. They told me that they had a gluten free menu but they were only able to offer one dish that was truly gluten free. The snack options were delicious and the combination of sweets and savoury was lovely. They had a great selection of teas and the price was fair but a little on the high side compared to other places that offer afternoon tea. Service was a little slow but the overall experience was great. The server was so accommodating in taking photos of our group.

Encyclopedia of teas menu will baffle you but you can ask their expert staff for the recommendations. Three layered snack tray with high tea is what u aim for and get it customized if you have dietary choices. Amazing staff.

We tried their set menu on Mother's Day. The offerings were pricey as expected; but the food, teas, cocktails and service exceeded our expectations! We enjoyed our time there right from the start. We're definitely coming back and try their other offerings.

At first glance, you may think that their high tea and salon service is pricey, but it is worth every dollar! As my mom put it, when I treated my parents to a tea set for lunch, that I have ruined any other high tea for her forever. Where else would you get a lobster ravioli bite or a lettuce wrapped lobster and prawn roll? Every item on the tower uses one of their 800 teas as an ingredient as well. This place is a treat for sure!

This tea shop / restaurant is so relaxing, beautiful and elegant that it had the same effect on us than a spa: minute by minute we felt more and more relaxed. I loved my meal, a very well cooked and seasoned fish. The tea I ordered with it was delicious as well. I also had their moon cake last winter; I didn't realize it would be so pricy but I'm actually glad I didn't know about the price, otherwise I wouldn't have been buying it and would have deprived myself from a succulent treat. Thumbs up for the friendly and very polite service that I experienced on both times.

TWG Tea at Vancouver
TWG is well known for its tea of course, I’d to review on its dinning experience. We made a reservation for a quick brunch sometimes in July of 2017, and I was blown away by their level of service! Keep in mind that this is not the first TWG boutique dining experience for me, so I had some expectations walking in. I always liked to ask the server for recommendations and their personal favorite dishes. Our server was insightful and knowledgeable. I ordered the Eggs Benedict, it was truly the best Eggs Benedict I’ve had todate. The English muffins were toasted just right, as you bite into it, yolk slowly leak out of the poached eggs submerged in the porcini hollandaise sauce... That level of satisfaction from the bite is beyond words! Highly recommended! I’d suggest picking the smoked salmon to go with the benedict as it rounds up the extra saltiness. I also ordered a pot of tea that was recommended by the server, which paired with the food so well! This time around, we had the Sakura, and the Easter Tea Set. Once again, our server was friendly, informative and gave us great recommendations. I’m impressed with the presentation, the taste and the service! The manager/owner dropped by and chatted with us, he’s friendly and always listen to anything you might have to say. The friendly environment and the upkeep level of service truly speaks to me, thus I will always put it in my favorite list of restaurants to visit in Vancouver. Some highlights:Yuzu Tea Infused Crab Cake: crunchy mouthwatering bites of deliciousness!Sakura Tea Macaron: high quality Macarons with matching sized shells filled with just the right amount of Sakura Tea flavor fillings!Sakura Tea: the pretty color, the sweet with a hint of souriness, and the aromatic elegant fragrance all screams Cherry Blossoms!Miso Maple Sablefish: just the right cooking time left the fish soft and tender with hint of sweetness from Caramel Tea, it just melts in your mouth!Foie Gras Medallion: the combination of tea infused cherry jam created a freshness that is so smooth!

I was very excited to see that TWG had come to Vancouver, so I had been meaning to try the high tea here for quite some time. As expected, the interior of the shop was gorgeous and gave me severe tea-envy, seeing the hundreds of teas lining the walls! The service was excellent, and our server spent a lot of time explaining the menus to us. She was happy to help us with our tea selection as well, as choosing for literally over 500 types of tea was a bit overwhelming (in a good way). TWG teas are exquisite and one of my favourite tea brands. The high tea here is probably one of the most expensive in Vancouver, but the care taken by the chef to make each morsel delicate, dainty and delicious was obvious. This is also the only high tea I've had where all of the food actually used tea as an ingredient. The food morsels were perhaps a bit too dainty, however, as I found myself hungry shortly afterwards. Still, it was an enjoyable and memorable experience and I would recommend anyone who loves tea and high tea to stop by.

Spacious, elegant, excellent servicesThe manager who served us today is absolutely fantastic, very polite and knowledge! Not only making adequate recommendations, but also being really considerate when we are ordering our afternoon tea there. The food was decent, solid quality and reasonable. We did find the seafood dish is a bit fishy (shrug)The tiger prawn is grilled as perfect as possible, juicy and tender, but the risotto is a bit undercook.Any spark ? Probably not the food, But the service! Applaud to the manager in suit!

1 star for service.0 stars for value0 starts for food quality0 stars for variety of products-1 star for forcing customers to spend min 60 dollar each for one high tea per person. 3 of us paid 180 dollar for a tea and few small and not very tasty food.Do not recommend TWG for anything other than their teas, definitely no to their high tea. Unfortunately now you can even go for just a tea !Min one high tea per person.Table covers has not been changed for while.

Tried 3 different tea with chic tea set and Lunar new year tea set. The food they use are sounds expensive, like lobsters, Caviar, and Wagyu beef. I do like the tea and the sandwiches. But the Lunar tea set has some wired combination. Nice environment and experience for girls date.
