Northern Upfitters is a great and trustworthy business. I am the owner of Muskoka Property Care and we trust all of our trucks, plows and sanders to Northern Upfitters. Met with 2 employees, Tracey & Greg, both gave excellent friendly, fast service. We were visiting the area and had a small problem with our vehicle lights. It was looked into, and fixed quickly. Very satisfied with Northern Uplifters.

Beware of This Company!! Contacted to have a used Western Plow Mount put on and was quoted a $1000 for the job and they ordered me the mount. The plow came off of a 2004 Ram 2500 and was going onto a 2007 Ram 2500 (plow was operable on the former owners truck). I took the truck in to have the work done with the wiring harness and control that came with it. I got a phone call a while later saying that the wiring harness wouldn't work on my truck and that the controller was old and I would have to get a new one. They recommended either a new ploy 16K plus or they could order all the parts I needed updating the quote to $5000. I declined purchasing anything else and having the work done by them. What they didn't know was that I have a brother that is an auto mechanic who also had a plow business for many years and I have a son that can wire almost anything and his pretty handy mechanically. I was taking it to Northern Uplifters because my brother is 3.5 hours away and my son didn't have the time. My brother and son were convinced that Northern Uplifters were lying to me and my son said he would install it. Being that he didn't have much time it took him a while but he did get it installed with all the parts I was told wouldn't work and it works perfectly. Beware of this company.

If your looking for excellent service, you don’t have look any further. I am very glad to have found a shop who cares about you and your vehicle. This was my first time to the shop and will not be my last. I see how Northern Upfitters cleaned up with the Readers Choice Awards. The new Road Force Elite they recently purchased was able to fix a tire vibration that another shop was not able to fix. Thank you Northern Upfitters for the amazing work.

During a road trip I had a tire sensor come on and unfortunately had left my gauge at home. Normally I would have just driven home and dealt with it there but with my kids in the car I opted to stop and get it checked out. After a garage down the road could not give me an idea how long the wait would be, I happened to notice this place on my way to just buy a gauge and deal with the issue myself. The gentleman behind the desk came out and checked them right away and I was on my way in less than 5 minutes. I offered to pay but he waved me off. Thank you so much for helping us and for not dragging out an already long day, we truly appreciate your kindness.

My husband and I had one of our car shocks break during our vacation. We called and explained our situation. Wayne got us in right away even though they were booked two weeks out. The car was fixed the same day. They are lifesavers!!

I was driving to Guelph when I ran over a large object that had flown onto the hwy. My engine shut off and wouldn’t turn back on, and I was stranded 2.5 hours away from home, desperate for help. I had my car towed to TWO other garages who turned me away before my tow truck brought me to Northern Upfitters. Despite being short staffed, the owner Jason took a look at my car and was able to quickly diagnose and fix the issue (fuel pump was disabled), removed the damaged part of my bumper/skirt that was dragging, and even put gas in my car as it was running very low. I was on my way home again within 1.5 hours.I am SO grateful to the kind owner who helped me out in this emergency, and would highly recommend Northern Upfitters to anyone! Thank you Jason and team!
