In the age of motels charging upwards of close to $200 for a night, it is very refreshing to find a very nice motel that keeps it closer to $100. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the motel manager was very friendly, and the rooms were clean. The décor was dated, but that was zero problem for me. I loved the motel for what it was. Breakfast is also included, and unlike other motels that might offer a continental breakfast of croissants and a muffin, the motel manager is busy in the kitchen making bacon and eggs for you. There is also bread for toast, cereal, juice, milk, and yogurt available, along with various jams. The clean rooms, coupled with a much better than expected included breakfast, means I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed for 4 nights on the August long weekend. Very happy with everything - price, location, fridge in the room, ice bags, breakfast, air conditioning.The rooms were clean and we had a really good experience.Easy to walk around Tata and a beautiful trail out back.We will stay again!

Clean, comfortable, friendly and well situated. Crisp aircon for the hot day we were there. And a wonderful free breakfast of fresh cooked eggs and bacon with toast, cereal, and homemade preserves. All at a bargain price. If you’re headed through the area this is the place to stay.

What a place! You get a lot of room for a little price. I had a queen bed, nice sofa, coffee table, desk with office chair AND a breakfast table with 2 chairs all for 100 a night? Walking distance to almost anything in Tatamagouche. Walking trail in the back yard with a path to it. Good enough WiFi to stream movies. Couldn't have asked for more!

Awesome little motel. Exceptionally clean. Friendly staff. Great view out the back.Awesome location. You can walk into town in about 4 minutes.Removed two stars because we stayed in the junior suite - which has a door that cannot be locked that opens into the hotel lobby. This made me uneasy thinking that while we slept someone could enter our room. If this issue was fixed, I would certainly have made a 5 star rating.

We stayed at the Balmoral motel in Tamagouche on September 21st 2022 for one night.. There was 4 of us We loved our room and the hotel..The breakfast the next morning was awesome..All the staff here were very accommodating and helped us so much as my cousin is in a wheelchair.Big shout out to Pierre and Jeannie thank you both for all your help..I highly recommend this place. I'll be back.Audrey and the girls.

One of the best places we stayed in Nova Scotia and PEI. Clean attractive room with a great view of the pond. Awesome amenities. They actually have good wifi, which we found an anomaly so far on our trip. Manager is super friendly and the free breakfast was great. Loved the homemade preserves. We are thoroughly enjoying our time here.

Although a motel, you've found a really great spot to stay the evening.It's clean, has fantastic staff, reasonable prices, and a great restaurant.It's located perfectly with access to all The Sunrise Trail has to offer.
