I've been in and out regularly for the past few years and some days it depends on if the right staff member is in who has the best information.Like today I needed paint project help and just had to wait for the one staff who was most accomplished with the idea to become available.A number of months back I had to come back two days later because their professional for that type of project repair. And yes it was a little frustrating but they tend to say straight up, they can help but so and so is much better than them.So if you need something specific just find out the day the best professional is in and work with it

This summer we have used the services of the Canmore Home Hardware a ton! We bought a new home, and lots of hardware needs comes with a new home ownership. As always the Canmore Home Hardware is a great hometown store with great service and a wide array of hardware selection, including tools, paint, plumbing and electrical. We are in the store 2-3 times a week.I have been pleasantly surprised with a young man working their named Drustin who has an excellent sales manner. He is knowledgeable, courteous and has great customer service skills. I feel this young man really has a future in sales and/or some other people skilled related career.

This place is honestly 1000x better than the Canadian tire in town. Highly recommend going here first to see if they have what you need. Fair prices and really awesome people.
