Marine View Optometry

I had a sudden issue with my eyesight today and I luckily managed to get a same day appointment with Dr. Stephanie Luk. Once she completed the exam, she took the time to explain the issue to me and she also outlined the plan for me to have the issue corrected. Dr. Luk and the staff were all very friendly and informative throughout the visit!

This clinic is fantastic and I would highly recommend for many reasons! My doctor was very thorough and did a great job explaining everything to me during my eye exam. She took the time to go through some contact lense options after updating my prescription too.I just came back today for some sunglasses and again the staff were wonderful in helping me choose a nice pair from their selection. The location of the clinic is very convenient too being right at Marine Gateway!

There's no question that these guys will go the extra mile for you every time. Both their doctors and their staff are knowledgeable and professional with great regard for the work they do. I initially booked a routine eye exam with Dr. Luk after experiencing weeks of blurred vision. After the most thorough eye exam I have ever experienced, she let me know my symptoms were a result of my medications, rather than my astigmatism. She gave me sample eye drops and monitored my progress over weekly visits, at no extra cost, until my symptoms resolved. Hence, it's no surprise to see such glowing reviews for this clinic. They genuinely care for you as a patient and you feel that from the moment you step into their office. Which is why I can't say enough good things about their front desk staff. Despite the fact that they probably deal with their fair share of rude customers, these girls have been nothing short of professional and courteous every time I've been in for an appointment. I would highly recommend them!

The BEST optometry ever! This place was so clean. I've never experienced the professional service like this before. My son did an eye exam for the first time. A receptionist and a lady doctor treated him so nicely, made my son relax and not scared anymore. She explained details about my son examination and also suggested my daughter would do the same regularly. She was so care with her patients and not in rush in giving an exam. She was really professional. Thank you!

I had a great experience here. 2 years ago, I randomly dropped in for an eye test that needed to happen quickly for something and I was booked on the same day. I recently made the switch to contacts and it happened smoothly and quickly. Front reception/desk is quick to response to emails. Dr. Friesen assisted me on both occasions.

I booked with them on short notice today and they were able to take me in. The front staff is extremely friendly. Dr. Friesen did a thorough eye exam and answered all my questions regarding my eyesight and dry eyes. Really Recommend them

This was my first visit to Marine View Optometry and I had an appointment with Dr. Stephanie Luk. She put me at ease right away with her welcoming approach to the eye test. She answered all my questions clearly, explaining the process and helping me to understand my options for my prescription. This clinic was very peaceful and professional, with friendly staff. Very convenient location. It's on the 2nd floor near the exit of the SkyTrain station of the shopping complex. Dr. Luk was very helpful and patient. She was much more thorough with explaining my prescription and options than my previous optometrist. I find the contact lens she prescribed to be accurate. Tried 2 other places before and they couldn't get it right.

Very Courteous and helpful staff. Dr. Stephanie is very knowledgeable & polite, great techniques used to give the accurate diagnosis. Winnie at the main helpdesk was much helpful to make me choose correct eyewear! Kudos to the entire team! Thank you :)

Appreciated the punctuality, clean environment, student pricing, and direct billing with Green Shield.Had a great experience with Dr. Gill. I felt he was much more thorough than other optometrist I’ve visited elsewhere. He took the time to explain his findings - warned me about a clogged eyelid gland that may potentially lead to a stye and also thinning walls related to my high prescription. The whole experience was easy & educational.I also appreciated not being forced/pressured into buying contact lenses & glasses!
