CIBC Branch with ATM
I was in the drive through ATM and the machine ate my card for no reason I tried to take money out and I didn’t give me money or my card back. I then had to park and go in with my two year old to ask For my card back. I simply ask the front desk for someone to get my card back but they said they couldn’t help me and it’s best to just go ahead and order a new one. I needed my card right away as I needed money to go grocery shopping to get food for my son. They told me to take a seat because they needed a manager to open the machine.The manager was to busy to help me and everyone I spoke to told me it’s just best to leave and order a new one and there wasn’t anything they can do for me because the manager was on the phone. I am 9 months pregnant with my two year old son in the bank. I told them over and over again I have no money and I needed my card back and I had no other way of getting food for my son or even myself to eat. They basically turned me away and the manager closed her door.I am disgusted that four people wouldn’t help me a single mother of a two year old and about to give birth during this difficult time.They have put a lot of stress on me and my baby.I wouldn’t never do that to someone who is so helpless. Disgusted that a manger would discuss a business deal then to take a minute to help Me as this was basically now a emergency to get food for my kids.I really hope they feel terrible what they have done.

I recently met with Yash Vagal a Financial Advisor at the branch to discuss options that were available for my financial planning. Yash is very knowledgeable in the field and was truly interested in my needs, circumstances and preferences. Yash was able to make various investment options clear and understandable to me and took the time over several meetings to ensure my decisions were in line with my long term goals. I would have no problem recommending Yash to anyone who is in the process of making investment decisions for their future.

Awful experience trying to pay my loan. I do banking with another bank but I'm grateful CIBC gave me a loan for my car. I had a cheque bounce and needed up come to the branch and pay in person. The teller clearly hates her job because she was so frustrated with me. I'm not a master at banking so I couldn't be very efficient for her. You'd think the person dealing with customers everyday would be nicer but I guess she was just having a bad day. I ended up clearing everything up I hope. It was a very simple procedure but she made it seem like it would be impossible. This is just my experience but I'll stay on top of my loan so I never have to come back here. Hope your day's better Marie but you definitely didn't make mine better.

Offices do not have doors. Nowhere private to speak about personal finances. Employees walk in and out without notice. Can hear all conversations in other offices. Uncomfortable open concept layout.

I've been a client of CIBC for over 30 years. Having recently moved to the area this branch has been great to work with. It's unofficially my new branch. The service team on the counter is kind, very attentive and welcoming. The location is very easy to access as well with strong hours of operation. Looking forward to an upcoming meeting with their advisory team.

Had a meeting with financial advisor named Hussein. He told me he would have details for a loan within a day. I followed up with him twice via email and twice via phone with no response. It took me calling the branch manager to get anything done. Complete lack of customer service and professionalism

I was very disappointed in the service at this branch. When I spoke to the teller, I was made to feel like an inconvenience. Prior to coming in, I had checked the website which said I needed one piece of government ID to open an account for my child. I met with Jas, who insisted I needed two pieces, despite my showing him the requirements on the website. When I expressed my disappointment that he was not adhering to what was on the site, he laughed in my face. At that point, I walked out and I will never return to this branch again.

No one answers the phone & don't call back after leaving a few messages. EXTREMELY frustrating lack of service! I've complained to head office, but there's NO change in any of the CIBC banks.

Went in with rolled change for my grandmother that hasn’t been able to get out of her apartment due to covid-19, when i go up to the counter this one women teller is serving me, and she was just very unpleasant and rude. First, she asked me if I was lying to her about all the rolls being correct...I understand you need to clarify that they are correct, but to straight up ask a client if they are lying is super unprofessional. I got attitude and death glare from her the entire time. I felt like I was inconveniencing her, AT HER JOB, with things she is supposed to be doing. Customer service is definitely not the career for her, or it’s just time for her to retire.
