Recently my stylist moved. I had to find a new hair stylist who I thought would be able to help me maintain an undercut.I was researching hair stylists in my area and garrisons Niagara listed many seasoned stylists, including Michel, a trained barber from Portugal.I had my first appointment with him in the summer and it went very well. Michel asks a lot of questions to get a good idea of the style his client is looking to achieve. He takes his time and the end result is fantastic. If you’re looking for a professional skilled barber in bloor west / liberty village I Highly recommend him !

I’ve searched through Toronto to find the best barber, and finally I found him at Garrison’s barbershop. MICHEL is a true professional who will make the time to make your cut stand out. He goes the extra mile to make sure his client is satisfied and he understands exactly what you want from the cut. He also went out of his way to give me a few styling suggestions and advices which made a big difference for me.If I could I would give him 10stars out of 5, would definitely recommend, and would recommend to anyone in Toronto looking for a fresh cut.

This place works like clockwork! A truly professional group runs this great spot nestled just south of Queen Street.I pre-booked online & as soon as I walked in I was greeted by a beautiful dog & I knew I was gonna like it here!I had Michel who has amazing reviews on here & now I know why. He doesn't just know hair, he listened to what I wanted and informed me of what would work best based on the shape of my head. I let him know my concerns (I have a really high forehead & thinning crown) and he proceeded slowly & checked in with me regularly.It's more than I'm used to paying, however, it's clearly worth it.

I've tried a lot of barbershops all over Toronto and I can confidently say that Garrison's is the best! All the barbers there (Alex, Josh to name a few) are amazing professionals. I usually see Michel, who is a great barber and just a really nice guy. Highly recommended!

Great haircuts! I was very pleased with the consultation and cut. They take their time with you and make sure you’re happy and know how to style it after you leave.

Got a cut on a whim because I was working nearby, one of the worst cuts I’ve ever gotten. Told the barber what I wanted and showed him a picture of my last cut, and let him know I’ve got an oval shaped head so don’t make the fade go too high. He made it too high and very uneven. Will not go back again.

I had the pleasure of having Michel as my barber and he is incredibly skillful in his craft. From the moment I sat in his chair, he paid attention to every detail and listened to my needs and preferences. Michel was patient and made sure to explain every step of the way, which was really helpful since I am not well-versed in hairstyling techniques.Michel is not only a great barber but also a fantastic communicator. He made sure to check in with me frequently to ensure that I was comfortable and satisfied with the progress of my haircut. I really appreciated his attention to detail and dedication to making sure that I left his salon feeling confident and happy with my new haircut.It's unfortunate that Michel will be moving out of the country, but I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors and new journey. Michel is a world class barber, an incredibly talented artist who I fully trust with my hair. Every time I leave feeling incredible about myself and how I look, cannot recommend. He is incredibly kind and easy to talk to, but also respects if you need a more silent time in the chair. Cannot recommend him enough
