It's a great tree. I can see why they call it oak-ville.At the moment, there are no leaves on the tree (see photos).

It's a park. It's great. Nice picnic areas. Tons of parking. Great kids Play barn. Lots of bathrooms. Even has a paved trail for roller blading.

This tree was germinated in the year 1685.It is one of the largest trees in the province of Ontario.

Personally I think this tree is more impressive than the redwoods on the west coast. There also another huge oak on the other side of Bronte Creek a few hundred meters away from this one - glad someone had the foresight to preserve them!

Nice place for a quick easy hike. Can get busy if you arrive later I the day. Nice areas to picnic or BBQ as well.
