Port Cunnington Lodge

I've seen a lot of change at Port Cunnington Lodge over the last 20 something years, but it has never lost it's charm. The view over the lake is incredible, and there's always plenty going on. All the cottages are amazing, with some being more modern yet maintaining that cottage feel. Staff are incredible helpful and polite, while remaining in the background. The grounds are always beautiful, even with this wicked drought.

Everything about this place is fantastic. The food is delicious, the lake is gorgeous, the grounds are kept in excellent shape, the staff is friendly, the rooms are clean, and no detail is overlooked. What a perfect Muskoka getaway. Will definitely be back!

This is a hidden gem! Having a wonderful stay with comfortable and cozy accommodations. Went to golf course easily with the shuttle boat and it was spectacular. Was impressed with the meals as breakfast and dinner was included. The waterfront is gorgeous with a putting green, shuffle board, canoes, etc. Will definitely come back!

My parents and I spend a lovely week up at Port Cunnington at the end of august. We stayed in the Boathouse and absolutely loved it. The unit had a balcony right on the water and it was perfect for reading.The service was excellent. Ariana in the dining room was a pleasure and the food was delicious. We had the meal plan and there was so much food that we didn’t eat any of the food that we brought for lunches.My dad and I used the kayaks a couple times and that was great. Lots of shoreline to explore and cottages to admire.Everything was very clean, tidy and very well kept.We didn’t have kids with us, but the playground looked great as well.Also, there weren’t a whole lot of people there while we were, but there seemed to be enough seating options around the property that it wouldn’t have been an issue even if it was busier.

I felt like I was part of a family!This resort is intuitive to the needs of their customers. What better way to travel and then to find a home away from home that welcomes you, pampers you, and has a smile and a story to share. I can see why many return year after year to Port Cunnington Lodge.The food was delicious, and was hot when it arrived. Fresh ingredients were used and were cooked perfectly. Each wait staff, you could easily chatted with about your day.In the industry of travel were it is hard to find perfect staff, this resort has done just that.I look forward to returning at another time and season.

Awesome spot. Helpful and friendly ladies at the front desk. Clean rooms, sandpiper had new furniture, great view of the lake, and food was more than expected!!Went for the stay and play golf package

We spent two peaceful nights in the Boathouse overlooking scenic Lake of Bays. The accommodations were very comfortable and clean. The property is immaculate with its own resident deer which were delightful to watch. An old restored barn has been transformed into a beautiful games room for those rainy days. Our lodgings included breakfast and dinner; both were delicious. Do not worry about lunch as the portions in the 5 course dinner are so generous you will be able to enjoy the leftovers the next day. The staff are all so welcoming and sociable, you leave feeling like you are saying goodbye to old friends. Shout out to John, Alex and Jill for all the spoiling and love; you really made us feel special! You are what this world needs more of

My husband and I spent a long weekend with 4 other couples at this fantastic resort retreat. Beautiful surroundings, quiet and peaceful - Muskoka at its best. Top drawer accommodations (one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in!), clean and well maintained. Two lovely beaches with lots of lounge chairs in great condition. The soft-sand beaches are raked daily and extremely clean. Lovely, well maintained docks and the water is crystal clear. Great, friendly staff who even happily prepared the small putting green for us to have a fun little putting competition. Our unit was a large, very clean and well-equipped 4 bedroom with a bunkie-type 5th bedroom attached to the main unit by way of a common deck, overlooking beautiful Lake of Bays. We did all our own cooking so can't comment on the food at the dining room. Nice Broil King BBQ supplied for each unit so it's great for family or friend BBQ's. Our unit had a fabulous screened-in porch, so we were able to sit out and enjoy meals and visits bug-free. Great fire pit enabled a relaxing fire right outside our unit each night under the stars. Friendly staff, well managed resort. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway or a longer stay. Family friendly, golfers or couples - either way, a great, relaxing, quality experience. We will be back!

We stayed in the chickadee cottage for our honeymoon and I have to say, everything about that vacation was amazing. The views, the activities, the people, the wildlife, and the FOOD! Oh my the food was incredible, absolutely delicious. We will definitely be coming again to celebrate more anniversaries! 10/10
