Hôtel Suites Lac-Brome

Amazing location in front of beautiful Lac Brome, with direct accès to the lake, and amazing sunset. Kayaks seem to be available during summer season, as well as a pontoon available for rent. The included breakfast from the restaurant was top notch with lots of choice from a breakfast/brunch menu. All in all great service, cozy hotel, clean and great value for the money.

Their staff Valmond enters peoples rooms when they are not there and leaves we caught him! I think they like to spy or listen in on their guests this Valmond is a guilty of a crime as this is illegal.

TERRIBLE! The worst service I’ve received in my life! I booked a room back in April since I had a wedding close by. ON THE DAY OF, I called the hotel around noon to confirmed the check-in time: the gentleman confirmed it was 4pm. I asked if it was possible to check-in earlier and he verified but confirmed that the room would most-likely not be ready as there was someone staying in it and that they needed time to clean before I arrive. Up until now everything is fine, I totally understand. THEN comes 4pm and AS I AM PULLING INTO THE PARKING LOT I receive a phone call from the Hotel saying that THEY WOULDN’T BE ABLE TO GIVE ME A ROOM FOR THE NIGHT because there was some damages in my room and that the Hotel was completely booked. Disappointed and puzzled as why they waited until 4pm to tell me this, I asked if they could help me out or accommodate me since I booked 4 months ago and that I’ve already paid for my room, but they said NO sorry! REALLY??!??!?! That’s the kind of service they offer!Since all the other Hotels around were fully booked, I had to drive 2hours to go back home after the wedding. And now 3 phone calls later, STILL TRYING TO GET MY MONEY BACK… Thank you so much Hotel suites lac-Brome for wasting my time and LITERALLY NOTHING!

Worst experience of my life !! Reserved a room in April for a marriage I had that was in the neighbourhood for the month of august. The day of the my reservation I called at 1pm to see if there was a possibility for me to check in a bit earlier since I had to be on site at 4pm and the check in is only at 4pm receptionist told me there is no way. I could understand since they did not have time to clean the room is what she said. Arrived at the hotel at 4pm and while parking my car the hotel calls me to tell me that I will not be able to have my room (that I already paid for) do to a problem in my room. I then told them I just wanted to sleep and leave early morning reason of me being there is that i was invited to a wedding. I then asked her why I could not have the room I had already paid for? she told me that there was water damage in the room and that the bed was all wet. After a 2h drive to get there i did not understand why they couldn’t advise me before getting there and only at the check in time she had no answer for me. I then asked her what could I do in this situation can you refer somewhere else or try to at least help me out in the situation especially the fact that you give me this information a 4pm .. she said it’s not our fault and there is nothing she could do to help. Was easy to take my money when I reserved 4 months in advance. I had to drive back home since all other hotel rooms where sold out that night. Best part is that when I got to the wedding I spoke to someone and they told me that they went to the same hotel I reserved got there around 3pm and was given a room and said to me the hotel was completely booked online that day but they took a chance to see if there were maybe availability if they presented themselves at hotel. I then realized they gave them my room. Very disappointed if you think of reserving a night at this hotel make sure to tell them not to give your room away. I’m only giving 1star because I have to. Real rate is a big 0.

RESPONSE TO OWNER: I have no reason to believe you will look into it and you were aware. I emailed and phoned countless times to be told you would look into it an get back to me shortly". Never once heard back.Response from the owner 3 hours agoThe hotel is under new ownership and were not aware of this - we will have this looked into----ORIGINALStill waiting for my $200 room deposit 2 months later. Zero response from hotel staff. Absolutely unacceptable.Received a dirty room upon check in. Fireplaces not working. Hot tub gave me swimmers itch. An exceptionally disappointing experience."

Worst hotel worst service it is like they have made a by keeping guests deposit. $200 gone for no reason.

We had a great time at this hotel. We stayed at king bedroom. Really lovely. Their breakfast is amazing. Huge plates. Also they have a very nice two saunas and a pool. All workers were nice to us. Thank you.

owners veronique and driss and especially their employee Valmond who harassed me are not good people they are in my landlords in montreal and its no surprise they have left because their reputation and bad staff here is known especially Valmond i cannot imagine they manage a hotel well. I hope karma gets them for their employee Valmond who is a very bad individual.
