My son has been training at Kirin for 7 years. It has been such a positive experience for him. The lessons he has learned there have impacted him both at the club as well as in life. The discipline and goal setting that he's learned from the club has transferred to his school and part time job. I highly recommend this club to everyone, of any age and any ability.

I would definitely recommend empower boxing, I've been going for about 3 years now and it's a great place. After a long day it's awesome to head down and release some tension during class. The instructors are highly knowledgeable and make the classes enjoyable.

I've been a member for approximately 3 years. Great place to teach your kids about respect and integrity with the major focus on self defense. Safe environment to learn from great instructors. I highly recommend Kirin Martial Arts and Empower Boxing for people of all ages.

If you are looking for a fight club this is not the place. But if you want your kids to learn martial arts/ self-defense and improve self-confidence, physical abilities snd coordination i would recommend Kirin Martial Arts club. Most important that safety is in first priority.

Great place! My two kids were at different ability levels and Mr. Gross adapted to my childrens’ needs while still staying true to the tenants of tai-Kwon-do. He interweaves humour, structure, respect, and caring into his practice. While my children ultimately decided they currently had too many activities to continue I would recommend Kirin Martial defence to anyone and hope my kids will choose to return in the future. Lots of great life lessons to learn in addition to physical activity.

Who doesn't enjoy motivating themselves while burning calories? No one. Adults should give this workout a try because they will want to return every week.I have been a member at this gym for three years and I love it each time I walk in the door. You feel welcomed and you have a fun time. Instructors are helpful and want you to learn.I have always wanted to learn how to punch properly and kick like a pro. I feel confident every time I step into the building that I'm going to sweat and feel better after my workout. This is such a confidence boost joining Empower Boxing; and it has helped me in my self-esteem incredibly.

I love Empower Boxing! I have been going for three years now and it literally became my therapy! Feeling the burn and pushing your body to the limits with complete support from the instructors and fellow kickboxers! I recommend it to anyone no matter what your fitness level is, you will be glad you joined!

I trained with this club 16 years ago with a few friends. They promote and instill confidence in every member of every skill level. Nothing short of honor and integrity is shown from Glen and his instructors every single day in and out of the gym. I am no longer in Manitoba but if I was in Brandon, you bet I'd have my children in his gym. Great club with superior instruction. Thank you Glen for letting me be a part of the club even for the short time I was there.
