We decided to try Popeyes tonight after hearing good things and reading good reviews. However, I could not be more disappointed with it. We ordered for 4 people that included a variety of menu items but nothing out of the ordinary. we ordered online for an in store pick-up as we don't live far from the restaurant. It took nearly 40 minutes for us to get our food. In that time, I watched 2 delivery drivers return to pick up food that had been forgotten. When I got our food, the fries and popcorn chicken were ice cold, the chicken nuggets were uncooked, and the crispy" burgers were complete mush along with an order of fries missing. I understand its not going to hot after the drive home

It was OK. Went to the drive through at lunch. Had a chicken sandwich, fries and a drink. Chicken was tasty and crispy, but only mayo and 2 pickles on a sad bun. Fries were not good! If you want a 5☆ chicken sandwich go to Cooks in Cumberland

Crispy chicken sandwich was wicked good. Plenty of crunch, juicy, on a brioche bun. Popcorn shrimp were slightly overdone in my opinion.

Excellent service with great taste. The general manager over here is a top notch man. He knows very well what he is doing to keep customers happy. They ran out of mild chicken and I ordered 3 pc mild chicken so he politely asked me if I was okay with 2 mild and 1 spicy and I was good with that but when the fresh chicken was ready out of courtesy he got me a piece of mild chicken that he offered me in spicy.The food was great and I was already full so I had to take that 1 pc of mild chicken home. Great job. I live in alberta but if I come back to courtenay I am surely coming back here.

First and last time going there. Ordered chicken tenders and onion rings, and some popcorn shrimp. Half of the chicken tenders were way WAY overcooked, and leathery, half of them were under cooked and slimy when I bit into it. The onion rings were super soggy. The popcorn shrimp was decent, but not great. Ended up throwing it all in the trash after only a few bites. Total waste of money.

I don't usually write these but I love Popeyes & this Popeyes was even better then all the rest that I've been to across Canada... the chicken was amazing & a man named Yogesh gave me outstanding customer service.. what a legend!

Was very good when it first arrived. Now has become very slow. If you like the spicy chicken get ready to wait 45 minutes without even an apology. Customer service has dropped majorly as well. When asked why my order was taking so long they were rude and pointed their fingers at me and said wait your orders coming up!" this was literally after 45 minutes of waiting. I was told 12 minute wait. After 20 minutes they told me 12 more minutes. I ordered at 4:02 and finally got my order at 4:55."
