I have rented cars here a few times over the years. The service is always friendly and prompt. The cars are nice, very clean and well maintained. Picking up the car is quick and hassle free. I highly recommend them for car rentals!

Beware!They will confuse you when signing. Take advantage of the fact you are likely tired and not reading the fine print. Read everything before signing.

I had a pretty good experience with CarRentalPlace. Rented a 12 passenger van. I think the price was one of the lowest I could find on the net and the vehicle was very clean and low kms (33880KM). customer service was also pretty good. I'd do business with them again for sure. Only complaint I had was the wipers didn't do a good job of clearing the windshield (probably old wiper blades).

Excellent 12 seaters chevy (the 4 seats at the back would fit more for children not 4 adults)very clean and confortable!Nice staff!

Our friends and family just wanted to take this time to thank Frank and his crew at the Car Rental Place. The entire experience from getting accurate quotes, the thorough delivery inspection and the return was seamless. The van itself (late model Toyota Sienna) was very clean and drove buttery smooth throughout the vacation as it was well-maintained. More importantly, unlike most other rental places, e-mails were responded to promptly and the final bill was lower than we had anticipated with zero surprise charges. Never left a review for a car rental place before, but we had to make an exception here as a small token of our appreciation for the exceptional experience. Without question, we would highly recommend the Car Rental Place as it is now our go-to place for any future vehicle rentals!

I’ve been renting 12 passenger vans from here twice a year for a few years. Every experience has been good. A quick call to set up the reservation, the vehicle is ready right at open, and it’s always clean and well maintained. I can drop off after hours. The people are good to deal with. I recommend the Car Rental Place.

I had a very good experience renting a car here. They picked me up from my mechanic's shop and dropped me off back at my car when the repair was complete. The Corolla they rented to me was brand new, clean and had more options than a base model. The price was more competitive than most of the other car rental companies on Dufferin St.

I had a very negative customer experience dealing with this place. Although they are cheaper than the bigger companies this is a classic example of you get what you pay for. What really upset me is that This place does not operate ethical what so ever. I rented a 12 Passenger vehicle I put on exactly 110 km all day and I filled up 25.9 L of fuel upon my return. The owner claims he had to fill an additional $38 in fuel as he claims that it was short.Because of the business I do I rent these type of vehicles regularly and I have never seen any vehicle that consumes as much fuel as the owner claims it does.Unfortunately because he has my credit card on file and can pretty much do what he wants I really have no recourse and I would like to post this review to warn any would be customers to be extremely cautious if you choose to do business with this place. It would be much worth it to deal with a bigger company even though they may be slightly more expensive because at least you’re dealing with the legitimate entity.I also recommend that should you choose to do business with this place do not return the vehicle after hours as they will claim that something is damaged or missing like they did with me. I had to pay an additional $45 for a piece of the floorboard that allegedly was missing. Unfortunately I cannot recall if it was there or not there for again I had to take the owners word for it. It is probably wise should you make the mistake of dealing with this place please go over the whole vehicle with a cell phone camera for your records.

Happy to tell my story to anyone who wants to know why this place deserves zero stars. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! Just take a minute to read all the other low star reviews and ask yourself if the owners tone, and language is representative of a business that understands relationships and service.

I had an accident and I needed another car to go to work. My body shop recommended this company. In the beginning everything was ok. I dropped off the car and next day i had a phone call that I damaged the rim. It was shocked at all from the beginning to the end so i paid 145$ extra.As a newcomer in Toronto i felt like being robbed from this company and this is not the way haw to treat a customer.Stay away from this company.
