Great service, excellent music, nice vibe. Got the fish and chips - the fries were amazing, the fish batter was a bit on the soggy side. Lots of cheese on the French onion soup, I’ve had better though. The chicken wings were awesome. Also got the cheesecake which was fresh and also very tasty.

Tyson and Sarah were amazing, the experience here was so exceptional. I’ve enjoyed live music and real community at this pub. This is why ever time I’m downtown Barrie I come to Mcreilly’s Public house. You definitely do not want to skip out.

Good for a quick pint of Guinness, but don't order food. The last time I ordered food, I came here with a group of 7. My six friends all got their food, and mine never came, and we were there for an hour. The lady behind the bar was nice but would rather have a laugh with the regulars than serve a big group of 7. She asked our table what they wanted to drink like 5 times, and each time, we tried ordering food but after the 4th or 5th time we finally ordered (we were there for half an hour at that point), 45 minutes later my friends all got there food and I was still sitting with my Guinness so I downed the pint and went down to Donnelighs ordered their food and have only been back for the tap Guinness once

When I showed up at McReillys to meet a handsome friend of mine, Tyson warmly greeted me and had a beer in my hand with 30 seconds. He even grabbed me a stool and brought it directly to my friends table. Great atmosphere and service!

This pub is the number one choice for my friends and I to go to! The service is always great and the food is top notch. Definitely a hidden gem and a must try if you haven’t been. Keep up the good work!

Great dinner. The ability to have a conversation is great. Not blasting music like way too many pubs and restaurants...The sticky toffee pudding was a highlight too. Great burger tasty. Taco was excellent and great presentation. Cheers to all there...Tommy on chef. Beauty eh.
