It is a nice little gallery with a great owner whose passionate about his coffee. One of the best Coffee in Halifax, for me at least. I am a latte person so I always have that but other coffees are also great. Definitely recommend if you are a coffee lover.

Nice and casual. Good coffee. Many selections of desserts, but I wish that they had a “perfect” choice such as strawberry shortcake, dates squares, fluffy muffins with no icing, custards…they tend to have many kinds with “lemon” but not everyone likes a acidic taste of lemon in their desserts. The soup was great. We ate lunch + a cup of coffee for $40 for two.

Great place to have a coffee, clean and organized. Good selection of food, albeit a bit pricey, but it is the only coffee shop. Maaaaaaybe needs a new roaster though as the food is much much better than the coffee (drip)

My first time visiting this lovely cafe. I can’t say enough good things about it. The sandwiches were delicious and the baked goods were excellent but I have to say the best part of this shop was the COFFEE! By far the best brewed cup of coffee made to order that I have had in years. A lovely spot to unwind and we can’t wait to go back again!

A touch of class and comfort. This little cafe is something you would expect to see in an urban setting, but it a hidden gem on the Herring Cove Road. It is such a treat to stop here when you are going for a Sunday drive or visiting the area. My husband loves the ambiance and the food and coffees here. Service is usually good, and you can feel the community atmosphere in the cafe. Neighbours know their neighbours. A bit on the pricey side for a coffee shop though. The food they serve is the usual fare of cookies, sweets, and they do serve soups and sandwiches. The soups are very good and worth it I think, and the sandwiches are good, on the gourmet side, not your average sub-shop sandwich.

Lovely panini with real fake meats bacon! Excited they had 2-3 veggie options for myself. Beautiful decor with paintings by Christopher Webb (I think) as well as classical music. Great place for some peace and a bite/coffee

Pavia is a delight- great coffee, fresh baked goods (try the cinnamon bun), and a small market with some items you cant get abywhere else. The best part is the service. The owner is so nice and clearly enjoys his craft! Plus...the art!

Cute place up the road to grab coffee , tea, or a quick snack!They have a variety of goodies to choose from. You can also purchase breads, sauces and other eatables from this cafe. The owner is an artist, so you will see beautiful paintings hung in the cafe. I hear there is an art studio on the top floor.Lovely when covered in snow and awesome in summers with a beautiful view.

The atmosphere is really nice and calming. It's nice to see a Cafe that has lots of seating available so it doesn't feel cramped.5 stars overall, only the food received 4 stars. This is due to the fact that not all barristas are created equally. Today's espresso was perfect, the one I got from here a month ago (different barrista) was super bitter and would have made for a better americano.Overall, though, I will be back.
