We’ve held our son’s baptism reception here since it was highly recommended by my aunt. And to my surprise they didn’t disappoint. Cindy, the owner, was very accommodating and kind. She met all our needs and requests. The manager, May and the guy was very nice as well on the day itself. They were very helpful and attending to our requests. Definitely recommend and will held dinner outs again. It was a busy day since mother’s day was a day ahead yet it didn’t seeM like they were rushing us to get the tables vacated to get more customers in.The food is a plus, they served very delicious courses!!

Came here with a party of 4 for Dimsum Friday morning and was happy we didn't have to wait for a table. The tables are partitioned with plastic barriers to feel a bit safer. However we were annoyed seeing some customers wandering away from their tables without wearing their face masks. Not the fault of the restaurant at all.Prices were great as they has 20% off and free tea. Service was good too. You can even choose to sit outside if you don't want to be indoors. We picked up some dinner menus too and looking forward to coming back to try dinner service.

Made reservations for 11:30am on a Monday as we knew the restaurant isn't very big. Cindy's kept some of their covid partitions up between tables which we appreciate. Chairs (although nice asian style fabric with pro plastic covering), tables & linens were in great shape. Service was friendly enough, efficient and most were able to speak english. 20% off dim sum on weekdays 9am - 3pm and weekends 10% off for the same duration. Loved that they serve old school beef/shrimp/bbq rice rolls. Dumplings are slightly above average size. Quality is slightly above average but definitely worth the price with the 20% off. They offer a small baked tapioca dessert for $6.95 which was delicious! Watched many fried noodle dishes served at other tables and they seem to have generous portions. We will definitely try it next time. Parking is a pain as their parking lot is quite small and neighbourhood parking is minimal so expect to walk a bit during peak times. Cindy's accepts only cash or debit. We will definitely return to Cindy's!

The 3 of us came here for dim sum on a weekday. I hadn’t been here before and we were impressed with good ol’ fashion Cantonese food. Our eyes were bigger than our appetite & we weren’t disappointed. All the dim sum dishes were tasty and with decent proportions. Great value too! Here are the ratings based on everyone’s experience: (with 5 being the highest)Ambience: 4 (good distance with plastic divider between tables). Place can accommodate a group for special occasions.Food: 5 (offer different sized portions with pictures)Value: 5 (20% off lunch from M to F except public holidays from 9 am to 3 pm. Free delivery for orders over $50)Location: 4 (look for the yellow awning located just off 1st Ave & Nanaimo). Free parking behind the restaurant or on the residential streets.Service: 5 – frequently changed our used plates & friendly staff.Hours: 5 (open 7 days a week from 9 am to 10 pm).We had so many yummy dishes that I forgot to take photos of a couple of dishes. If you’re not interested in dim sum, look for their dinner specials. For set prices, you can order peking duck 2 course meal with a choice of 3 or 6 main course dishes. There are over 75 dishes to choose from for vegetarians to carnivores. I will be definitely back to try their set dinner menu.

This restaurant serves dim sum from open to close, perfect for those that craves a good dim sum restaurant outside of the normal dim sum times. I highly recommend any of the rice flour roll dishes, #30-38. The rice flour rolls are made on-site and it’s the best I’ve had, period. Almost every item I’ve ordered tasted fresh and well made, depending on staff in the kitchen but overall the food have been really good. As a bonus, 20% off on the bill throughout the day! This is my 2nd time here and will be back for sure.

Food was on par with a lot of other Asian restaurants in Vancouver. Nothing too exciting to write about this place. Food came extremely fast. The servings were big. The Pork Chop with Spicy Salt & Pepper & Lemon Grass could have had a bit more salt and pepper. I’ve had better salt/pepper pork chops at other places. Would I come back? Probably not.

It's been a number of years since we last visited Cindy's Palace. They've pivoted to have their tables socially distanced (with a large covered outdoor patio as well). Most of the items we tried were great, including the glistening beef with onions and flat rice noodles (chow fun), the meaty bean curd wrappers with pork filling, and the warm and saucy bbq pork filling inside Cindy's special baked bbq pork buns. The beef beef rice rolls had a flavorful filling with parsley and water chestnuts but the rice wrapper was a bit thick for my liking. The baked tapioca pudding with red bean was good too but I wish the topping was a bit more cookie-like.
