Ming Auto Beauty and Protection Centres of Winnipeg

I brought my truck in for a respray of my Ming mirror paint finish on the bumper on a MPI claim. The guys are super friendly! I was disappointed that my vehicle looks like the dirt was hand wiped to reapply the paint protection. I kinda thought it would be washed, versus hand wiped.I have gone to Ming for 12 years, and this is the first time i haven’t been impressed by the quality of service. The roof was also treated and now… it has some nasty white scratches and debris on it now. Not sure what that’s about. I will need to take it in next week, to see if the white debris can be removed. Ugh

These guys are great. Ray did an awesome job doing the Ming finnish on my truck. It didn't look this good when I bought it new off the lot! Very happy and highly recommended these guys. They also tinted the windows and installed a 3m film to the front end of the truck. Thanks for the great work guys!

I recently took my car to Ming for a total exterior and interior detailing job. I had my car dealership to pick up my car. The dealer call me the next day and told me the car was not detailed in a couple areas. Interior trunk lining was dirty and the entire rear bumper lower valance was not touched. When l got the call, l called Ming and told them what my dealer told me. The response was “ who knows what they have done after your dealer picked up the car”. I asked for the manager hope to hear a better explanation. But he said he is the manager. So l said than is the end of our conversation. He offered to fixed the issue if l brought the car back. By then my dealer already cleaned and detailed the car. And it was an half an hour drive one way. I am extremely disappointed with the last two services they performed. I used their services since the 90’s and very satisfied with the work. What changed from the old days. I will not go back to Ming ever again or recommend to anyone to go for any services. They lost a very loyal long time customer. Hope they can go back to real customers service and professional services. Sad to see any well known company in Winnipeg get to this point. Sad day.

Exterior wash and interior detailing/shampoo were completed to a satisfactory level, however there is much more to be desired for what they consider a Hand Detail" on an Engine Cleaning.What was supposed to be a cleaning and detailing of my cars engine compartment ended up just looking like a pressure wash.When I called the shop after discovering this

2023 Update:Their prices have gone up but the quality of their services has gone down - at least in my experience. Took my vehicle in for interior detailing and it came back looking pretty darn good on the outside BUT there were one too many spots and places on the inside that seemed like they were not cleaned properly or I could have cleaned better at a car wash. For paying $200 the expectation is that the interior detailing is detailed.Not to mention the customer service. If you are not white, male, middle aged or older then don’t be surprised if you are treated gruffly and condescendingly. I won’t be bringing my vehicle back. So much for the 5 year warranty of the Ming.At least they treated me and my car respectfully for a couple years.2021: No complaints yet!They do a great job, provide a decent warranty and are skilled at what they do. Getting a Ming will cut your car wash time in half! If not more. Highly recommend you consider their services!

Their interior cleaning service seemed incomplete. Customer service over the phone is very poor, I get that it gets busy but a bit more friendliness doesn't hurt or take more time. As a person that is still learning about taking care of cars, questions seem to be received as stupid and getting condescending answers back.I should say though that their shuttle driver is very friendly and knowledgeable of the routes

We had paint protection film installed on our 2023 Murano. This is the third Murano we have had this done to. Claude and his staff have done great work on all 3 of them. This time there were a couple of minor issues but they fixed them quickly to my satisfaction..Tanks to Claude and his staff.Ken J.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!Worst customer service ever! We brought our car in for rust proofing (They did a good job on that part at least, or one would hope).Prior to taking our car in to Ming, there were no scratches, paint was in pristine condition. When we got it back from Ming, the paint was stripped off in a few places and they left some wierd resin on the passenger side door.When we went back right away to address our concerns, we were met with immediate hostility from Ray (tall older guy with a long ponytail) who jumped right into defense mode and decided to argue with us rather than listen to our concerns and offer to make things right. He was rude, combative, and clearly had zero interest in wanting to work out a solution, which only escalated things on both sides, leaving us both upset, completely eroding our trust in this company.Clearly this was not his first rodeo as it was made pretty clear by his ZERO F’s given attitude. Based on our experience, I’m going to wager we’re not the first customers that this has happened too. Very disappointed. Save your money and car from getting damaged by not going to this place.

Got rust proof 2 years ago and brought my car in to get checked out. One thing to do is you need your original receipt so keep that in a safe spot. Also gave my car a nice wash! I highly recommend
