The Marjorie Bridge & Thrombolites Walking Trail
One of the very few places on Earth where you can see and touch thrombolites. The roundest ones look like steamed buns and fish cakes.

Quirky, interesting place to visit. There's a small parking lot for a few vehicles before walking over to join the trail. Just keep in mind that thrombolites don't look like the usual fossils - more like massive blobs of concrete on the water's edge.

Thrombolites are extremely rare fossil structures that are only found in a few places around the globe. This trail takes you over Marjorie Bridge and onward to a community of primitive lifeforms that will be sure to astound. If you're lucky, you'll even see icebergs in the distance. A wonderful spot to stretch your legs, don't pass it up!

Great little walk. If you are into rocks, geology, biology, this is for you. Ancient organisms now stone.

It's really interesting. We saw an iceberg in the distance. Nice walk along the path and saw the thrombolites. Very cool.

This critically endangered species was worth the stop! They may simply appear to be rocks, but I may never chance to see such living rocks again!

An easy gravel lined walk, with great examples of flora all along the way. The thrombolites themselves are impressive, and the sea and community views picturesque. There is a small community building at the end to warm up and eat a snack. A great place for a little indoor or outdoor picnic!
