I came to Jenn about 10 months ago to start some laser hair removal. I have PCOS so I was very skeptic of this process working on me because of my condition. I am fairly hairy and would even say have more hair than most. I started with my underarm to test how well the results would be for me. I did a total of 8 consecutive treatments with Jenn. It has been a total of 2 months since my last treatment for my underarm. I let my hair grow for the past 2 months to see the results. I am SHOCKED. You cannot see the hair I have unless you look closely or are near me. I am so happy, beyond words, on the results it had for me, especially with my PCOS.This was first time getting laser hair removal and Jenn was fantastic. She's very welcoming and educated. She takes the time to educate you if you have questions. I do recommend everyone does a research on laser hair removal before getting it done. I highly recommend anyone looking for laser hair removal treatments to visit Jenn, totally worth it. I can't wait to go back and treat more of me!!!!

UPDATE:I have been going to Jen for about 5 years now. For the past 2 years I have been struggling with painful ingrown hairs that have led to reoccurring infections that required antibiotic TX.I have course, curly hair (Jamaican/Ghanaian background) and Jen has been educating me on the benefits of laser treatment but I wasn't to keen on trying due to the cost, the possibility of it not providing desired results due to my darker skin tone and fear.With encouragement from a friend who received great results with Jen, I decided to take the chance as I was at a breaking point and now I couldn't be happier.No more horrible ingrown hairs, no more pain/irritation, no more antibiotics and barely any hair which is great.Please keep in mind that this is an investment to your quality of life, 1 or 2 treatments will not suffice. Noticeable results for me started after my 4th appointment and I did about 6 or 7 already and will need a few more for touch ups.Of course everyone is different and laser isn't cheap but it is life changing in my eyes therefore worth every penny.Jen is amazing, honest and good at what she does.Review from 2018:I have been going to Jenn for my sugar waxes for about a year now and she is honestly in my opinion the best at what she does. Amazing service! Jen is super knowledgeable and makes you feel comfortable right away. I have thick, dark hair on my face which hasn’t responded well to laser in the past. I saw better results after my first session with Jen than I did after multiple sessions elsewhere. I cannot recommend Sweet Hair Removal enough!!

I highly recommend going to Sweet Hair Removal for your treatments! I have been coming to Jen for a few years now to have my sugaring done and I've always loved my results. The improvement of my skin was noticable right away- minimal to no redness after sugaring, hurts way less than waxing, and a HUGE reduction of in grown hairs.Now I'm also coming to Jen for laser hair removal sessions and WOW the results are unreal. I couldn't be happier. Jen is extremely clean, knowledgable, and has reasonable prices for high quality results. The only thing you'll regret is not coming here for your treatments! Absolutely amazing! Ever since I started seeing Jenn, she has absolutely changed my life. I started off with sugaring and the results were incredible. She convinced me to switch to laser in order to achieve the results that I wanted and I cannot thank her enough! She was very informative and took the time out to educate me. Jenn is very knowledgeable about her services. I started seeing her for sugaring and she recommended that I would be a good candidate for laser hair removal. She never over promises about what the treatment results will look like and I’ve been very satisfied with my sessions. I do have red undertones in my hair so I did need a few extra sessions to try and get at the follicles that just didn’t want to go away. The darker patches of pigment under my arms have completely been resolved and any hair that does grow back between treatments is thinner, almost blonde and there is significantly less of it. I’ve had about 9 treatments for my underarms and I think 7 or 8 for my bikini line. The bikini line is great. Almost no hair grows back now! I would highly recommend Jenn to anyone seeking sugar wax or laser hair removal!

I have been going to Jen for some time now I started doing sugaring years back and moved to Mississauga so wasn't able to come as frequently. Moved back to Durham and decided to start Laser on my Brazilian area last year. I am a darker skinned women and was very scared to do laser at first after hearing so many horror stories. Jen educated me on the whole process and I decided to try it, we did a total of 6 sessions and I am barely growing any more hair and will just continue to go back for touch ups. Its very hard to find quality as well as someone who knows what they are doing and Jen is that person! I highly recommend Jen especially if you are darker skin and looking to start doing laser.
