I tried this Nuvo location as I recently moved and I absolutely loved my experience from making my appointment to walking out with my glasses. The lady you talk to on the phone to book appointments is super lovely. Dr. Gauthier was so nice and attentive and gave great advice. Then Ian helped me pick glasses (helpful and not pushy) and was there each time I came in to get my glasses adjusted. He is also attentive and so nice.

Everything about my experience here was top notch, from the wonderful front desk staff to my interactions with my doctor. It was my first time there and everyone was not just professional but also very knowledgeable and welcoming. Thank you for great experience! Highly highly recommend

It's really inaccessible to try and get an appointment. I've been trying to book to get fitted for contacts, the first time I tried they booked me an appointment and then called three days before to tell me that they couldn't honour it because at the time they would only do fittings on Tuesdays. Tried again today to get an appointment and I was told that they don't work weekends, don't have any way of booking me in after 4pm and were generally unhelpful in trying to work with a fairly standard 8-4 Mon-Fri schedule.

am so glad to have found this shop. the optometrists are lovely to interact with, efficient, knowledgeable, personable, and welcoming. was impressed as well at the manner of the shop staff. am most grateful to Greg and Ian in particular for their assistance in selecting a frame and recommending the kinds of lenses that would work best (for specs) and for discussing my contact lens needs. thanks to all at Nuvo for their great service.

I use Nuvo in Orléans for my vision care, and without a doubt, it is the best place to take yourself and your family. They have state-of-the-art diagnostics, but more importantly, they have competent professional services as well as excellent customer service.As well, I have used their eyeglass studio, and honestly haven't had quicker or better service anywhere else. In fact, I had my new glasses by the end of the day, after seeing the optometrist in the morning. The staff are also very knowledgeable about what the requirements are for those of us who work with screens all the time, and suggest the right coatings that have saved me a lot of headache (literally!).

This was my first time here and the doctor was very thorough, kind and all in all it was a very pleasant experience. However the price of the actual exam kind of shocked me as I've never paid more than $90 for an exam and this one came to $200 but I was happy with the experience.

The anti reflect coating has started to peel on my 850 dollars glasses purchased 3 years ago. I was told there was nothing they could do for me. They sell low quality products and don't care about their clients.

TERRIBLE customer service. The eye doctor is not bad but the front staff are very rude. My order delay over three months，no one contact me and a women front staff was impatient and rude when I called them.

Recently moved to Vanier from the Glebe and decided to try Nuvo as it is closer to my house than my previous optometrist. I got two pairs of glasses in the last 3 years from that previous provider and while the staff and service were good, neither pair felt just right" -- both in terms of frame fit and the lenses/prescription itself. I felt the exam at Nuvo was more thorough than I have experienced in the past and the Dr. asked me lots of questions which is great!I recieved my new glasses from Nuvo today and WOW! it was like Cinderella and the glass slipper. I am having none of the focus issues I was having with either of my old glasses and I think this is the best my vision has been in years!I would like to thank all the staff at Nuvo for amazing quality of service from reception to finish-- with a special shout out to Greg K and Dr. Buettner!"
