A bunch of introverted losers taking up space with their slave ship experience reproduction.This organization is about money, not people. They, took over community showers in community center, took over the dock and are inhuman with boaters. A shame that we have such useless organization making money on behalf of lonely depressed people. At least stop yelling, like demented freaks, nothing is achieved anyways.

Tread carefully. The organization has no power of oversight on teams. If you join a bad team, there is no recourse. In my case, no contract, no transparency, poorly run, and no refund. Again, teams with shady practices are left to their own devices. You're on your own, just like everything else in this city.

Everything is great, other than the fact that they don’t audit teams. A Dragon Boat team in Vancouver makes the whole team volunteer at a stadium serving beer for hours during sports games and concerts all year round, and none of the volunteers (the team paddlers) are ever shown any proof of what it’s paid, or proof that the charity they are helping does actually exist, or of where the money goes. Seems a bit shady...

I was able to book a single kayak just a day in advance online, which was extremely convenient. I rented the kayak for 2 hours and was able to do the entirety of the permitted area (False Creek). I made it back with about 30 minutes to spare so would probably reserve less than 2 hours next time as a single kayaker. I would say 1 hour would be enough for 2 people. The staff were excellent, reassuring and gave me some great recommendations for other active things to do while visiting Vancouver. Great experience!
