Banh Mi Boys
First time trying Banh Mi sandwiches so I had to go to Banh Mi Boys and they did not disappoint. I fell in love with this place as soon as I walked in. The staff were very friendly and helpful when I walked in and helped me pick the best Banh Mi for me. The bun was soft on the instead, but toasted on the outside, the chicken was cooked and flavoured to perfection and matched perfectly with the vegetables. The sweet potato fries were crispy and salted to perfection and it was overall a great meal and an amazing first experience trying them. I would 100% recommend enjoying their sandwiches.

Firstly the places to sit at are dirty, floor is dirty too. The food when order comes automatically in a take out format even if you are eating there. The server at the counter laughed when I asked if they are Washroom. Now on the food, the fries are there the driest fries I’ve even had, they lying on the counter behind the server. They looked very sad. They horrible. Moving on to the sandwich I ordered the pulled pork, it was bad. I did not like the taste that was very dry too.I hope do something to fix it, cause I’ve eaten at one of these, before and it was amazing.

Arrived today and ordered. Only to find out they hadn’t prepped for the day. They said “sorry we will have to cook the proteins”. Waited 20 mins and said I want to cancel and they said it’s coming now. 10mins more…still no food. They were not ready for service today despite taking orders and causing a pileup of people.

Banh Mi Boys is a nice space for a quick casual bite if you want to sit down inside. Similarly, always a good option for takeout as well. It's not too expensive for what you are getting - good value for money. The staff are really nice and friendly and they are good at what they do. You may need to wait a bit depending on what you get because they make it fresh.The banh mi's are always my go to. Really delicious. I loved the five spice pork belly banh mi (very tender and packed with meat) as well as the chicken one (really flavourful rich sauce/plenty of chicken) The ratio of bread to vegetables to meat on the banh mi is excellent and the bread is fresh and delicious as well.Another great highlight was the kimchi fries! The combination of vinegary, tangy kimchi, the more neutral rich fries, and the sauce they put on top just works! Really good and the portions are fair/worth it - I couldn't stop eating them even though I was already quite full.

If you can believe it, Banh Mi Boys popped onto the TO food scene a decade ago. Their myriad of affordable offerings include banh mi, tacos, steamed bao and of course kimchi fries! It’s been years and the taste is as good as ever.Kimchi fries’ served warm smothered under pulled pork, fresh kimchi, scallions, mayo. The huge box is huge as a perfect lunch fill-up or late night snack. Add jalapeño as I did if you like a bit of extra heat.The Boys’ banh mi is nothing to scoff at either: it’s among the best in the city! 5 spice pork belly is the most popular. This time, I opted for grilled pork. Its lemongrass flavour melded perfectly with sweet pickled carrots, cilantro & spicy mayo in fresh baguette.

The grilled chicken banh mi was tasty. Fries were meh. Having both with a drink was very affordable. My biggest complaint is the cleanliness of the dine in tables. They were by far the uncleanest thing I've ever seen in a restaurant. The tables, the seating, and the floor had bread crumbs and food spills everywhere. It's like absolutely no one was checking up on them. Please don't expect customers to clean up after other people..

I tried the 5 spice pork belly Bao ona. Wednesday afternoon, it was super delicious! Mine was a takeout order so I was pretty happy with the quick service. The restaurant was pretty crowded when I went in and I will definitely try to have a sit down lunch/dinner soon. :)

Banh Mi Boys
Came here for lunch on a Thursday afternoon with a friend. Food came out quickly and at good quality considering it was peak lunch rush. I got a chicken banh mi and sweet potato fries, while my friend got a tofu fries, and we were both happy with our food. Some of the tables were a bit dirty (crumbs, etc), since all the staff were busy serving, but they were cleaned soon after the queue eased off. Bathrooms downstairs are also decently maintained.
