Any time we need a survey in the GTA we go to Guido Papa Surveying. Their cadastral boundary work is very thorough, at times with exhaustive field and documentary search. On many projects they've found better evidence, resolving long-standing disputes.Topographic surveys are detail oriented, they're also able to leverage parent company data (First Base Solutions). Never had any problems with their surveys. Work is always done on time, weather permitting.For construction layout, they're on site even with short notice. Their survey office is very accommodating to changes made to building size or location prior to layout.Their field crews are highly visible with company vehicle and safety equipment. We're friendly with our neighbours so their crews are able to do their work safely.

My neighbour is applying for a building permit which required a property survey. They hired Guido Papa Surveying. For some reason they had to access my property. In doing so they destroyed my flower garden. I contacted the company to advise them of the situation and sent them pictures of the damage. They replied, stating the surveyors rights. They did not accept the responsibility of the damage nor did I receive an apology. After a phone call and several emails, I was offered $20 for the damaged plants. Total insult. Think twice before hiring them. They have no moral cumpass.
