St. Kateri Tekakwitha Catholic Elementary School

I am a former student at this school. This place is a horrible environment to be at. The Students are rude. (Always swearing, insulting people, starting awful rumours.) Many people get bullied at St. Kateri and the principal and teachers don't do anything to stop the bullying and the bullies get away with it. The thing I found the worst about this school, is the fact that this is supposed to be a catholic school, and we barely learned religion, and some of the teachers said the Hail Mary (One of the most common prayers)wrong.This school gave me an anxiety and depression disorder, and it is really hard to recover from all the flashbacks. I wish I could rate St.Kateri 0/5 stars. I believe a school should be a safe environment. I think the principal and the teachers should at least try to stop the bullying, instead of doing nothing at all. I believe a Catholic school, should be teaching Catholicism, and the teachers should know how to say the prayers properly.

I’ve been a member of the Kateri community for over 10 years, I have three children attend the school and wouldn’t change a thing. It’s a wonderful community and the staff is incredible. A school filled with support and care for each child.

I ABSOLUTELY HATE KATERII regret sending my daughter thereIt’s a horrible school the kids are a bunch of bullies they all make me sick The only good thing they have there is the principle.I’m so happy this is her last year thereDO NOT EVER SEND YOUR CHILD THERE!!!!

My son is currently in Senior Kindergarten, and the past year has been incredible. The school's principal and teachers exhibit genuine kindness and enthusiasm for their jobs. My advice to you is to enrol your child in this school if you live nearby. I'm very glad we attend this school instead of one that is so big that the sense of community is lost. Additionally, all the extracurricular activities and fundraising events that they invest time into organising for the kids make it even better. When my daughter is old enough, I can't wait for her to start here too. Go Tigers!

I want this school to burn to ashes. DO NOT go to this school. One of my good friends went to this school and they were bullied and beaten up. TheyDon't even help anyone out and if you ask the teachers for help with the bullying, they just don't help you. They would either say oh they're just kidsor something else which isn't right.

St. Kateri is a fabulous elementary school. The school is an amazing community of principal, teachers, support staff, parents and students. I have four children and they all attend this school. One has graduated and her experience was such a positive one at St. Kateri! I highly recommend this catholic school. I am an active member of parent council and this school is small but mighty!

St. Kateri is a fantastic school. My kids have learned so much academically but I am most impressed with the sense of community in the school. With things opening back up we've had sports, track & field, and play day return. Looking forward to the family barbecues and Christmas concerts that the school put on before COVID. My sons are just finishing up grade 2 and SK, and my 2 year old will definitely be going to Kateri when it's her turn.
