We did Learn-to lobster Boil dinner organize activity by the Park, it was Awesome! At the Golf of St Lawrence. Robert & Megan (park staff) our hosts were very knowledgeable and fun.We visit many national parks. This experiential activity was outstanding! worth every penny.Strongly recommend to visit Cape Breton Highlands ParkPark and visitors center: Very friendly and approachable staff. Very comfortable and quiet park ground, we stayed overnight. Beatiful sunsets at hiking trail.

It was very busy but a nice place to stop for information. Great playground for kids next to the centre. Our daughter wanted a coffee table book of pictures of lighthouses. She sat with the women working the register for awhile looking at the light houses and talking.

Great starting place for the Cabot trail. Staff was very helpful and informative. Gave us ideas for short hikes throughout the Cabot trail. A must if you need information regarding the trail, sites, and hikes
