Justin and his team at JSPEC managed to make our flat roof repair a pleasure. I would say my wife and I made the decision to pursue the rebuild of the flat roof on our nearly 100-year old home but that wouldn't be completely accurate. The water leakage made that decision for us. As we had never used a roofing company in the past, we asked friends and family for references and obtained a few quotes. Justin and the JSPEC crew came from a reference we could trust and gave us a competitive quote. Justin was also very patient in going through all the questions I had though I learned a lot from his professional and detailed quote. The decision to go with JSPEC was easy and, as it turns out, a great one. Justin patched the leak pending the full repair that was scheduled and completed on-time a week or so later. Some say that a clean work site is the mark of a professional crew. Well, the JSPEC team left my yard cleaner than they found it. Looking to avoid your friend's roofing nightmare (because I was!). Justin and the JSPEC crew were amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Justin will be the first to tell you that they aren’t the cheapest, but that’s because they are careful and do things right. I didn’t want the cheapest roofer, I wanted the one that was going to keep our house dry and comfortable and make sure the work looked great in the end. These are professional, hardworking guys who go the extra mile and then some.J Spec did a major roof overhaul on our 120 year-old house during the spring and summer of 2016. The works: new flat roof, new shingles on the sloped roof, new metal siding around the rooftop dormer, new skylights, new eavestrough, and the piece de resistance, a new cedar rooftop deck.Justin was knowledgeable, upfront and honest in quoting the job, talking us through all our options and working with us to execute our vision for the project. Throughout the process, J Spec kept us involved down to the smallest detail. Even if it was just a subtle placement of deck fencing, they checked with us.
