Archery store

Went in for some help with my bow. time was taken to teach me a bit about it, and to provide me with some new arrow tips. I also shot in the lanes for a bit. Store operator seems like a great guy. I also noticed on the website that the pathetic government tried to shut him down and he stayed strong. that’s why I am happy to write this review and for sure give 5 stars, hopefully it gets at least one other person in the doors to support a local business.

I love this shop its my go to place close to my house awsome product good service faire price alot of food choices for hunting you should just go and see for youself.

Cody was amazing to deal with. I was searching for some currently hard to find nocks and Cody figured he could order them in fairly quickly, but offered to pull some from his in stock arrows so I would receive them sooner. He was quick to respond through email (and on a Saturday night too!) and was an amazing help. Big Dog will definitely be my go to archery store from now on.

As a newbie into the bow hunting world, this was the place to go. Staff are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They take the time to explain the ins and outs of setting up and purchasing a bow. Very happy to have found this place.

I’ve loved shopping here and have always recommend the store; however, I feel very unappreciated as a customer. I went to speak with staff/management over a problem and was met with rude and defensive behaviour. A simple apology over the issue would have been more than enough. I’ll really miss shopping at this store.

Great service here!Ordered a blind that unfortunately came with a broken rod (no fault of store). Rob was quick to reply and they sent me a replacement! Very pleased and recommend to everyone!

The first time I went there was a bilingual couple there, quite friendly and helpful. I was very happy to have found this store not too far from where I live.The second time was disgusting. There were 2 gentlemen, French, one a little more helpful than the other but were offering no advice for my situation and the one less helpful was one of the most arrogant people I’ve ever spoken to in my life. It was so bad that I came out of there, honestly, feeling like I’d never felt before. I felt belittled and disgusted, and disappointed that a person like this even talks to people at all.I, personally, will never step foot in there again.RE: Reply belowI actually spoke English first and one of the workers looked at me blankly until I said “Ça vas bien” in French; at that point he decided to answer. My feeling and opinion has nothing to do with the fact that you don’t service the brand I have, that’s completely fine and understandable. It’s the fact that one worker was offering no guidance whatsoever, as if I had asked the most ridiculous question, the other stepped in and was more respectable and somewhat made up for the lack of tact from the first. But the first was, again, so disrespectful and arrogant that it made me just be extremely nice and innocent so that I didn’t show my frustration. Another thing to notice, in almost all cases where there is a negative review, there is always a response shifting the blame and taking no responsibility. I’m sure sometimes it’s valid but impossible that every time it’s the poster’s fault. I personally wouldn’t want to do business with someone who can’t take responsibility.
