Scout hall

Was a scout for 9 years in this building and my son just started last week. Same building, same classic fun, but the park is updated and awesome!

Busy and hectic place, which is a good sign. I was there the day after the icestorm. I tried to call beforehand to verify that the restaurant was opened. The telephone went unanswered despite several attemptsThere is a wide choice of dishes mostly from North VN. The food is decent. I have had better Pho elsewhere. The service was a bit sloppy, but let's be kind and undertanding. The restaurant was full on that day and the waiter was particularly overwhelmed.

This is a great place that represents a tradition of honour and strives toward providing children with survival skills. Having a club that positively reinforces respect and manners is a worthwhile investment in your child's life. There are activities for children such as cubs and scouts and a marshal arts program as well. I found out that this hall is also available to be rented and has amazing rates. A full kitchen makes it very useful for preparing a full meal or just keeping your food warm. There are tables and chairs that can be used for setting up a lunch or dinner function. I used this place for my son's birthday and it was perfect for the amount of people who came. Overall renting this hall was a great experience as it is run by a family who are very active in the scout community... many thanks to Luisa for all the arrangements on the admistrative side and her husband and Head Scout Art for the tour and preparing the hall. It was awesome to see that their son was very involved also with leading the cubs group. Not often in this day and age to see an entire family functioning together for the overall success of a program but look again because it exists here.

Its older and shows it age but what a cool place for the kids.

Excellent parking for Fujiyas right next door.
