It is a medium sized museum full of greek and roman statues. It takes 50-60 minutes for a fully tour inside. If you are interested in ancient Greece and Rome, you have to visit this place.

I saw different plant residuals there, which are from 1500 ad. They also kept some real bones from animals which they got during new constructions. They provide knowledge about that things , which they kept like sweet grass, which was used as a perfume in earlier days as well as accessories. I learn a lot there about past culture. They also made some paintings on the walls reflecting earlier days.

**Temporary 3 stars Review**Great place to learn Canada's first industrial site history. The museum has rich details and information about the people who used to live there centuries ago from the French, British and Canadian colony/era.There are as well picnic tables, hiking trails(45 mins walk) to enjoy. And there is also the Fred Pellerin audio guide which is available for 11$ (Only in french!).When I always have a tour in Park Canada's historic sites I am always amazed by my tour guides as they teach me new stuff. However, on the 02/10/2021 at 2:10 pm, I felt that the visit was instead a question period instead of a tour guide. Instead of teaching us new stuff, our guide gave us 10 minutes to explore the room. At the end of the 10 mins, if no questions were asked, we changed room. However, I must admit that at the end (maquette room) He gave us a little bit of information after the video. However, I do believe that the video gave us more information than the tour guide that I had on this day.In the end, it was probably the tour guy that was not entertaining that day. I am willing to come back and have another tour. I would then give it a 4 stars review if things will be different from my previous tour.Still, the museum is still worth to learn new stuff about Canada's history. Give it a try!:)

Great for showing how Canada's metal industry started. Good grounds for walking around, self guided or just wandering. Lots of parking, reasonable entrance fees for family. Nice movie about the history of the area!

Love this museum! Very interesting exhibits, artwork and artifacts. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, even offering our family a mini guided tour as we came late in the day and missed the last tour. The longhouse is very well maintained and interactive; my son had a great time climbing up and pretending to sleep. And the forest trails behind are beautiful and provided a great walk after our museum visit. We'll definitely be back soon!

A decent museum at the site of Canada's first industrial complex. I'm glad that I came here. The kids loved dressing up twice here.
