Travelodge by Wyndham Meadow Lake

Room was very nice, very kind staff working here. Nice location near lots of restaurants. Only issue would be the shower head runs poorly. A cheap fix that would bring my rating to five stars.

Stayed at hotel for work and room was clean and comfortable, hotel was quiet not a lot of noise from hallway or outside.Breakfast is open at 530am which is nice because there are no breakfast options on that side of town.

There were bedbugs on the bed!!! Ridiculously pricey! Do not stay here!! Good thing we checked first before settling in. We ended up getting a refund! Do not stay here!

It's always fun when you check into a hotel and walk into what should be a clean hotel room, only to find beer cans laying everywhere, a dirty, slept in bed, and the room smells like someone had a nasty party in it. Staff didn't even seem to care, much less apologize for the room, and just thrust another key at me. The next room still didn't seem overly clean, but at very least, the bed was made. I wouldn't recommend this place at all, but unfortunately I was in a bind and needed a place to stay.Oh, and the pool and hot tub are empty. WAY overpriced for a bad stay.

Bed Bugs! Dirty! A joke that this is today's standards. I am now very fearful I have brought bed bugs home with me despite being extra careful. The smell of that space is indicative of bed bugs. Even if there is no where to stay do not stay there. My child was covered in bites.

BED BUGS!! Do not stay here, stayed here for work for me and my crew. Rooms seem clean but they are not got entire body bitten and rashed from bed bugs as well as other crew members. Management was rude, not friendly and couldn't remember check in/out dates when given direct messages about it for my crew members. They gave our already booked rooms away without notice having us to change hotels. Overall not a very good experience. There are other nicer hotels in town, Four seasons is a fair price and clean rooms, friendly staff!

Underwhelming experience. I had to ask staff directly if they had a pool (it says they do online) and she informed me it is 'under maintenance' - judging by other reviews, it's been under maintenance for at least 6 months! The room was clean, breakfast was poor (choice of apples, bananas, toast, bagels, single size yogurt, hard boiled eggs, 2/4 juices were 'out of order'). There is no elevator. Price was 148.00, too high for what is essentially a 1-star experience. Wifi was very slow.

Nice clean room. Very friendly staff. Would have been nice to have a hot tub after a long day but….. I’d book again. Very quiet hotel.

The hotel smelled off and the staff was not attentive and friendly at all. It felt like we were not welcome even though we paid for our room. For the duration of our stay, we noticed that there was hardly anyone at the front desk. It was always empty. We got a room with a King bed and upon arrival, the room smelled off as if it was smoked in. There were a lot of flies in our room and as we opened the curtain, we were shocked to see how many flies were in the windows. We immediately returned to the front desk and asked if we could have a change of room. They said they were booked up so we had to be downgraded into a smaller room. The towels did not seem clean either as they were stained and discoloured.When we checked out the next day, we asked the front desk if there was any type of compensation because we got downgraded due to the issue with the room they provided but the staff completely ignored what we said and checked us out anyway. She seemed to be occupied with something else and was rude to us.Like other reviews, the pool was supposedly under maintenance. I can surely confirm that it has been under maintenance" for over a year now. Definitely overpriced and not worth the price for what we had to pay.Would not recommend staying at the Travelodge Meadow Lake to anyone."

Should have read the reviews prior about the pool being “under maintenance” for the last year, but booked specifically for the hot tub after our fishing trip. Disappointed the pool wasn’t open, and to add insult to injury, the plug for the bathtub was broken, was unable to hot tub or hot bath after a chilly day outside for the day. Front desk rep seemed apathetic and didn’t care. Won’t be staying here next fishing trip.
