Nu-u Float Studio

My daughter and I had the best time here. The staff are so friendly and nice and welcoming. The massage chairs are absolutely amazing and enjoyed the sauna and the floatation therapy was loved by my daughter. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Francois and his staff were wonderful to work with. I planned a spa day for myself and nine friends. It went smoothly and exceeded my expectations. I suggest if anyone is looking for a day with the girls to go here.

I have been floating and going to events at Nu-u Float for a few years. Floating is an interesting experience and very grounding, centring and restful. The tanks are well maintained and the space is clean and cared for. There is so much offered here and so much to do. I have been to a paint night here, which was such a great night and was so much fun. This place has interesting and unique offerings that Brantford is lucky to have!

They gave away my kombucha container to someone else after assuring me it was safe to leave there. So my gift from a friend who passed away was lost/stolen for no reason. Zero attempt to help. I do not recommend trusting this business.

I recently had a rather unfortunate experience with my float session. The ambiance of serenity was unexpectedly disrupted when the jet in the tank started haphazardly in the middle of my float. This unforeseen event significantly hindered the overall relaxation that a float should inherently provide.When I addressed the issue with the management, I felt the customer service did not fully meet my expectations. I had requested a refund due to the severe disruption of my session, but unfortunately, my request was not granted. Instead, they offered me a 20% off voucher for future use.While I appreciate the gesture of the discount voucher, it did not adequately compensate for the level of dissatisfaction I experienced during my visit. I sincerely hope the establishment takes this feedback into account and works on improving their customer service response in unfortunate scenarios like this to ensure future visitors have a more satisfactory experience.

Nu u float is so zen, relaxing, has so much to offer and decent prices. The people that work there are so amazing. I really enjoy paint nights and the float is amazing and facials. I highly recommend exploring and feeling the nu u afterwards.

UPDATE: I appreciate the response from management and can understand the perspective. The main thing I would say is communication. I can completely understand the expectations but when they are not communicated (even when asked) I'm sure one can see how that can taint a customer's experience. I was not notified at ANY time of the fee - when calling, upon arrival, or at the time of charge. I wasn't even notified that I wasn't getting the other service and thereby changing my package until AFTER I had already completed my float experience. And I canceled for the following appointment via the option provided to me in my reminder and received confirmation of my cancellation. If that is not an acceptable method, it probably shouldn't be offered. Where do I start.Was expecting a more relaxing atmosphere...but it was a bit too informal/casual for my taste. The bathroom was not clean (no paper towel, barely any soap, toilet not clean). Worst part was staff had literally just come out of the bathroom before I went in, so they should have known.I reserved for a package (45 min massage and 60 min float) but was running late (30 min). I called BEFORE I left North Oshawa (1.5hrs away) to be sure I could still have BOTH services. I was informed the practitioner had to leave so I would only be able to do 45 massage and 45 float). No problem. Got there at the agreed upon time. Was sent right to the float (thought that was weird, as I would have imagined the massage would have come first since she had to leave). Came out of the float, was told to take a seat for a few minutes. Then was told the person had to leave so I wouldn't be able to get the massage. WHY WASN'T I INFORMED AT THE BEGINNING OF MY SESSION. I explained how far I drove and that I would have rescheduled if I couldn't do both. He then asked if I wanted to reschedule for a different day. I contemplated doing the next day, since I was staying close to the area overnight. Upon getting pricing for everything, the price I paid for only ONE service was more than 3/4 of the pkg I reserved. And when I asked if I could receive a discount on the upcoming services since there was a mix up, it was hardly a true discount.As for the float - outside of the main instructions for putting in ear plugs, showering before and after, and not touching your eyes, there were no real instructions on the float experience. As this was my first time, I expected a little bit more.Overall, I would not recommend this location and I will not be back.

Nu U Float is an incredible wellness center that offers various services for all to experience. The staff are good at their jobs and provide exceptional service. I recommend trying out the red light therapy and relaxation massages.
