The restaurant is very small and very loud. The tables are very close. The bathroom was not very clean. The chairs the upholstery was ripped and needs to be replaced. Food was fresh and tasty. The servings are good size. I don't think I will be rushing back.

Great food - various seafood / fish dishes with a curry twist. None of the dishes we had were too spicy - just really good flavours. Very generous portions and very friendly and attentive staff.

The food and the service were excellent. We had the mussels, Biryani, Katch of the day and the fish chowder. They were all exceptional. I recommend reserving a seat ahead. We went during peak hours so parking in Fort Street was difficult.

Amazing flavours and our group of seven was treated so well!! The salmon fish and chips were perfectly cooked; the spice in the biryani was just right and the squid was so tender; the ganache dessert was next level delicious. Can’t wait for our next visit!

This is quite honestly some of the best seafood I’ve heard on the West Coast thus far. There are combination of spices, flavors, and impeccable service will keep me coming back for more. You need to try the hot pot is absolutely amazing. The amount of seafood you receive as well as the endless baguette is to die for. I highly recommend coming here.

This place is a tradition when visiting Victoria. We always get the vindaloo mussels. They are amazing. This time we went with kids and they made the experience so enjoyable and extra kid friendly. The service is amazing, they really care for you. The food is just amazing. I got the poutine this time and it came with the most delicious fried fish on top. Actually was so nice to dip in the mussels sauce. The flavours across the menu are delicious. A unique but very accessible menu.

The very positive reviews we read about the restaurant while planning our Victoria trip had our expectations high. We had it on our to-do list on our Victoria visit. We were glad to make it there for lunch just before our return trip from Victoria. Fishhook went beyond our expectations. We had ordered the Biriyani and The Pondicherry. The flavours were unique and perfectly blended. Never before had we loved salmon so much.Looking forward to our next visit.

Great food with a very unique twist that adds so much flavor to each dish. We ordered the veggie pekoras and seafood hot pot. We also got another side of bread later into the meal because the hot pot was so full. They have gluten free options for every meal.

We stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon and got the fish pakoras and the daily khatch. Both dishes were extremely flavorful and a pleasant change from the food we’d been having on our trip. The service was extremely friendly and quick. If you enjoy seafood and Indian flavors, this place is a great option!
