Called around 9pm as my dog was having a seizure and the lady was short and rude with me on the phone like I was inconveniencing her. After a long questionnaire with her she then said they'd call me right back. When I asked approx how long she saidit'll be whenever we can" and let me go rudely. that was three weeks ago and still haven't heard a peep back. Thank god for the vet in Peterborough who saved my dogs life as this vet obviously didn't find my dogs life or death health issue at the time important to them. Change your receptionist because she sounds like you're inconveniencing her when you call."

We had a sow who had a difficult labour, the vets came hours after we called, gave her some shots, and got her back to feeling herself. We were very impressed with their ability to get shots into such a large animal, while her babies were nearby. Truly professional, and knowledgeable! We met Dr. Brent some time later who helped us with all our male piglets, removing their testicles. He clearly cared about the animals, said a prayer before the procedure for his patients, and worked with my boyfriend to get the procedure done quickly and safely. I found their prices reasonable, and was happy to find such great local vets. Also the receptionist, Sherry Lynn goes above and beyond coordinating, getting quotes, and was incredibly friendly.

Absolutely beyond a doubt the best large animal service around. I have never had anything but an exceptional experience with the entire team. I’ve had multiple animals have surgery as well as their regular annual checks up and vaccinations and even emergency situations. I highly recommend their services. I am very new to farm animals goats donkeys horses hobby farm for my daughter. Had some difficulties with goats chronic issues. I am extremely grateful I have found this place. I am most impressed how supportive they are, no matter when, they are always available to help. They have guided me through helping to do whatever I can to my abilities. And if something I cannot handle they will be there to take over. I am also very impressed how fair the prices are when they come out to my farm. There should be a new Category 6 Stars for businesses like this that absolutely exceed every aspect.

All the vets here are amazing! Cannington are the best large animal vets around. The women in the office are responsive and friendly and all the vets are the same. Large animal vets are underappreciated and overworked and it is hard to find a good one, or to find one at all. Thank you for all the hard work you guys do!

If we could give 20 stars, we would. We have a small hobby farm in Queensville and our horse was cast in his stall, in a very awkward position. We tried everything to get him up, but to no avail. He was completely exhausted and we called Cannington Vet for a farm call. Dr. Brent McLaughlin made the call and not only cared for our horse, but got him up. We can't thank him and Cannington Veterinarian Services enough.

Dr Brett is wonderful he explains what he is doing and why he also makes sure you have very clear instructions for any follow up medications
