We stumbled on this taxi service while walking to a ferry. It's an overcast day and we're literally the only people on a boat:) great ride with music and excellent service!

Excellent experience with Pirate taxi. I have taken it a couple of times. Professional and friendly staff. All safety measures are followed to make us feel comfortable. Kids loved it.

If you're looking to get to the Toronto Islands, the water taxi is the way to go! We've used pirate taxi a bunch of times and they're always great, and prompt service! Plus you get to ride in the boats that look like pirate ships so that's always a bonus! They have two locations at the waterfront for pickup/drop offs and they service all the main islands!

The staff was super friendly and they went above and beyond.Our company was organizing a marriage proposal on the island and the pirate taxi crew made sure it all went smoothly. They were professional, on time and really accommodating (one of the passengers was in a wheel chair and they helped get him onto and off the boat). Speedy, reasonably priced, and Riel was super friendly! We highly recommend Pirate Taxi to get to and from the islands.———A friendly passerby we met on the streetcar recommended we use a water taxi to get to Centre Island as opposed to the ferry. The taxis are available pretty much all the time and will save you time waiting for a ferry or dealing with crowds.Riel was available to take us to Centre island right away and she gave us some great ideas for things to do on the island. She was super friendly and took a photo for us with Toronto in the background to commemorate the visit.The pricing was super reasonable given the convenience of the whole experience as opposed to the ferry. Costs about $15-20 or less per person including the usual tip and tax. We even took the taxi back as opposed to the free ferry option which had a huge line up.Great experience, we highly recommend it!

Best Water Taxi in the Harbour! Their crew is so friendly and helpful! Thilan told me everything about what I could do on the islands! really enjoyed the ride! 10/10 would recommend!

Couldn’t ask for a more wonderful experience! We’ve used Pirate Taxi many times now to help us take lumber to our houseboat on Toronto Island but today we we were taken right into the marina and they docked right next to our boat - that made it easy to unload our plywood panelling! Courteous & professional all the way!
