Wow!I was looking to buy a wine barrel for a project. I found DRM.recoop on-line along with a couple of wine barrel furniture making operations.After a quick chat with each I knew I had to visit DRM.recoop as their business supports first line wine barrel reuse/rejuvenation and recycling...the next day I made a trip to DRM.Recoop from Toronto to 514 Queenston Street, St. Catharines ON, CA...I thought I would be an in and out...but much to my delight Daimen was happy to share his knowledge of barrels/oak...wine and whisky. He was generous with his expertise and knowledge of recoopering....I was happily surprised to learn that his barrels come from a 125+ year old french oak tree which was air dried for 3 years before crafted into this barrel. Daimen and his staff were happy to share the delicate chemistry involved in wine/whisky making.I recommend DRM.recoop for wine barrel reuse/rejuvenation and barrels for your projects.I encourage you to visit DRM.recoop to see how much care they put into their craft.
