Over the past few years, we have been in the delivery business, and as our business started to grow, we wanted to automate the process of receiving delivery requests, scheduling routes, creating manifests and automatically assigning them to drivers based on their availability and proximity to locations. Basically, we wanted to build a system that is similar, in functionalities, to Uber, with specific functions that help our business model.We had a big challenge and a very limited budget!The idea sounded kind of impossible to me and my partner.
