Charming atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food. The price was excellent. The dips were tasty and the main dishes were delicious. The Mediterranean salad was perfect. Will definitely go back.

Family style platter dining with a focus on high quality ingredients and a friendly atmosphere. This is out if the downtown but well worth the drive.

This restaurant is located in the old Blumens spot. The table cloths are gone as is the ambience and napkins are now from the dollar store. Waitress was poorly trained if at all. She stacked the plates on our table before removing removed water glasses before we were ready and began the service by saying I’m new so I can’t pronounce anything on the menu. There were 3 little homemade dips in small bowls with pita to start, a timy eggplant ratatouille thing, an tiny olive dip and some tasteless heavy hummus. Then a cabbage salad that was salty and tasteless. Next came a platter to share with a cut up sausage, a hamburger patty and a massive fried schnitzel of unidentifiable compressed meat- maybe chicken or pork to share. A plate of good French fries was included. Dessert was some sort of cake with whipped cream in a small bowl. Waitress didnt know what it was. This was called a Tasting menu. We are not sure what was “Balkan” about any of this. It honestly reminded us of hospital food. It’s was only $68 for 2 plus tip. There were no garnishes or vegetables unless you count the shredded cabbage ( which was room temperature and didn’t taste fresh at all).- not even a piece of parsley on the meat platter. Definitely one of the stranger dinners we have had. There is a lot to be said for training and selection of wait staff. This sever seemed as though she had never dined in a restaurant let alone worked in one. Do not recommend at all unless you are a lover of fried meat and hamburger patties. Definitely do not come here if you eat anything other than fried meat.

Food was delicious! House made dips were a highlight, and the incredibly large meat platter helped make an amazing breakfast the next day.We went when the place was absolutely packed - more than worth the small wait. Very excited to return.

Tremendous dinner experience for those looking for good authentic flavours or to try something new. Personally having travelled to Bulgaria/region and enjoyed the local food, this restaurants attention to authenticity is excellent!Servers were helpful and friendly, overall experience made the evening worth it.

We had the platterTrio dips and pita, shopska salad, beef and lamb chevaps , chicken schnitzel, chicken sovlaki, potato wedges and 2 amazing deserts.All of it was fabulous and very well priced.We look forward to coming back!

There were 4 of us and we got the platter special and it was delicious. Lots of tasty food at a reasonable price. We will definitely be back and highly recommend dining here. Service was excellent.

Very nice. We didn't know what to expect as it was the third Restaurant in that location. This one seems more casual than the previous ones and really works if you want to drop in for a meal. Food was very tasty and the meal was ample. Good that they have a meal for two option. Very affordable.
